Two that immediately come to mind are 'With Strings Attached" and "Coralee." Strings Attached concerns a devious violinist who will go to great lengths to get out of his performing contract. The Beethoven concerto he is playing is replaced with something that does not fit and one of the most painful replacements in the episode is when Kimble arrives at the house the violinist and his entourage are staying in. There is this lonely cue that features the oboe when Kimble is walking around the foyer waiting to be seen. The replacement changes the scene entirely. It has none of the sadness or the loneliness of the original. Yuck!
Coralee is practically ruined because it has replacement music for virtually the entire episode.
I know others have written about this in great detail lamenting the changes.
One word of appreciation is how happy I was the Fourth Season had its original scores intact (minus the source music). I was so thankful that that season was largely untouched.
Such a travesty for such a wonderful show. Music has a very powerful effect on an image and changing it changes everything completely.
