The hardest part about setting this up, was deciding on which outlet to plug it into. That is to say, my very first pull of the trigger gave me a fantastic, even, beautifully atomized spread of paint. The difference between this and my HVLP conversion gun is night and day, apples to oranges. I think the thing that surprised me most, was the sheer power of the turbine. If you decide to open it up full valve, the airflow is very, very impressive, and it easily shot some mildly thinned latex like it was nothing. I might even get away with not thinning it at all, I'll have to try sometime.
Tomorrow I'll install the 1.3 tip and shoot some lacquer on the project I painted today. I'm very much looking forward to it.
*Edit* - I couldn't wait until tomorrow, I stuck around to shoot the lacquer. It went down even nicer than the paint, and QUICK too. I'm just shaking my head, having struggled with weak compressors, fidgety guns and leaky air fittings all those years. I should have bought this years ago.
