As always, there's room for a little improvement. First, the side pockets are held closed by little pieces of Velcro. Zipper closures would make those pockets more secure and functional. Second, the strap could stand to be made from a nicer quality material. It's just a plain black nylon strap. I may try to find something a little prettier, off a different bag. Third, the double-zippered top flap is wonderful; making it easy to get into the bag's contents. However, there's a lot of wasted, unused space under that flap. Some pockets or pouches under that flap for things like memory cards would be fantastic.
All in all, this is a great bag, and I would buy it again!
It is large enough to fit my Nikon D70s mounted with a Nikon 28-105mm lens and still have a room for my cellphone, pen and small notebook. Or that space could hold a flash unit or my Canon G15.
I placed the camera/lens in lengthwise rather than the standard face down. This is my personal preference. That set up will fit face down or face up. I don't think a longer lens would, though.
I used it both as my camera bag and purse at a wedding and received several compliments. It is a shiny vinyl, easily wiped off when necessary. I really like the double zipper combination. It was very easy to access the camera when I needed it. It does have a piece of velcro to hold the top closed if you didn't want to zip it every time. The two side pockets were not very usable when my camera combination was inside the bag, but if I only had the Canon G15 in the bag, it would be fine.
Overall, this is a great bag when a less obvious bag is needed.
It loses a star because while the bag is cute and simple, the cross body strap is pretty cheap, it reminds me of a standard strap you get when you buy the boxy camera bags without the thickness, had to use another purse crossbody strap from my actual purse.
i had bought the little red one at a sale for $2.00 and put it above my desk as "retro decor" and everyone loves it, so thought i'd go online and try and get some for gifts and found these white ones.... prices vary ... but very cute to use as purses....very durable...
This is a nice alternative for a camera bag that I could take with me to a wedding or nicer event, it's not easy finding something that meets those requirements. I think that you might be able to slide a typical DSLR into it without much room for extra lenses, but again if you need a nice place to stash a camera for a nicer event, this would work. The long strap (shown in the foreground in the photo) is detachable so it can look more like a purse with just the shorter straps when you want it to.
There is one slim pocket on the outside that has a Velcro closure that could hold a couple of slim items, but I wouldn't recommend relying on it for anything long term. My only complaint was that the double zipper on top isn't as smooth as I'd like, I wished they worked better together. That may loosen up over time though, meanwhile it's not that big of a deal to work them open. I'd recommend this item.

This is a very cute bag; and the canera and supplies fit nicely. Might even use the bag for a normal day, swapping camera for wallet.Published 19 months ago by Cathy B
Lovely little bag, hold my Olympus Pen Mini & a spare lense & I can still get my glasses & phone in, currently I'm using it as my everyday handbag :)Published 21 months ago by Kathryn
The bag is cute and functional. It's larger than I expected. Great for us ladies that don't want to have to carry a camera bag and a purse. Read morePublished on March 20, 2014 by Cathy W.
Packaging was perfect. This was a gift on daughter-in-law's wish list. She loved it. It's for a camera, but is cute enough for a purse.Published on January 16, 2014 by Carol A. Hargens
