As always, I enjoyed Danielle Steel's "Full Circle". It was a bit tragic (her books usually are). Also, the ending came up a little too fast. I felt as if she worked up to it, and then it was over too quick. I wanted to enjoy the character's happiness for a little while longer!
If you like her books, you will like this one. It is a true Danielle Steel romance!

Andy Roberts had join the military he and Jean conceived a child. She was born after Jean found out that Andy had been killed in World War 11. Tana grows up in the 1960's. Jean tries to give her everything. She becomes a mistress and wastes her life hoping to marry a man, who has been good to her and Tana. Tana sees the way her mother lives and confronts her about it and silently vows not to be like her. Tana is raped by the son of her mothers boss/ lover and when Tana tells Jean, she doesn't believe her. Which makes Tana even more angry. As she starts her life, Tana makes some interesting friends along the way. Harry Winslow becomes her best friend, he is secretly in love with her and doesn't want to scare her off. It is interesting the way her life goes from a radical hippie to becoming a Superior court judge over the years. It is just a picture of the circle of life is, how we believe certain things when we are young and how our views change over time. We end up with what we said we didn't want. In Tana's case a home and family. It is amazing how life brings us full circle.

Danielle Steel's novels are either a huge hit or a huge miss with me, this one fell somewhere right in the middle (which I feel usually dosen't happen with her books) I have read quite a few of her novels but in retrospect have probably made only a small dent in the numerous amount of novels she has out there. I did enjoy this story, and although some parts of the novel moved along quite slowly, there were other parts that keep me extremely engaged. There were a lot of twists and turns that weren't preditable in my opinion, although some other reviews of this book i've read claimed that they were.

This book deals with a lot of issues that I haven't read much about but equality is definitely what I would say this book is primarily about. Finding out where your place in life is, and changing or not changing viewpoints that have been instilled in you throughout your lifetime.

This wasn't my favorite Danielle Steel novel by a long shot, but it definitely wasn't at the bottom either, this book was a good yet not great read; worth your time, but not worth running to the store to pick up a copy either.

This book, for all of us who lived through the 60's, is an absolute gem of writing
It is a book that tears your heart out - These characters are so special. The
love story of a man who deeply loves a woman and always looks out for her.
It is a 2 Kleenex box book as you will cry throughout the story. I read this
book every year and you will too.

Once I read this book, all others were compared to it. I feel like a story should come in full circle. This one did. It's rare you find a book that you feel like you've accomplished something when you're finished. You've learned, you've smiled, cried...everything!! Classic DS

... Full Circle would be the perfect book if you're NOT looking for oh-so-romantic kind. It says about a girl called Tana who doesn't like her mother very much because she doesn't believe boys ans girls can be just friends. Tana's mother didn't think of anything else but getting her daughter married. Well Tana found a wonderful friend (young man), he helped her to het thorough tough times like when she got raped by her mother's lover's son and her mother didn't believe her... Anyway the story is really good, and different in a way.
