I bought the brush plus 2 replacement heads from a local store like 6 months ago because they were on crazy sale. It worked great and I really liked them. I finally needed more brush replacements, and naturally I looked on Amazon. I thought I'd ignore the bad reviews because I've had three replacement heads work just fine. But the new ones ordered here simply won't stay attached. As other reviewers have noted, I think it has to do with the plastic piece that clicks in to the replacement brush -- there's a plastic "male" piece that is *supposed* to click into a "female" piece, but the male piece is worn down or poorly designed and the two pieces won't stay together. It seems like a really cheap product if you look at it closely, and I'm really disappointed. I mean, I like the idea of keeping the handle and trying to minimize waste, but this product is so poorly executed and cheap that now I'm going to waste MORE than normal -- because I'm going to be throwing out the handle and TWO heads. That's eco for you eh? Throw away TWICE what you should!
BTW you don't get the plastic backing piece with the "male" part that clicks into the replacement brushes with this product -- you have to keep the original backing piece that comes with the handle. Perhaps they should sell replacement backing pieces OR, better yet, design them better in the first place so that they do not *need* to be replaced so quickly.
My handle has gotten pretty nasty under the head too (the bamboo is splitting and bumpy), so it's not like this product really lasts that long after all. I'm going back to the cheap plastic "throw the whole thing away" dish brush like I used to, disgruntled.
On the downside (and the reason for the 3 star review), is that the back piece (which comes with the brush but *not* with the replacement heads) wears out over time, and it would appear that the only way to get a new one of those....is to purchase a whole new brush. Which I do not need; I need the back piece (the brush will, barring abuse, last for generations. Mine started looking a little ratty-a little action with sandpaper and polyurethane, and hey presto! Nearly new appearance. (Could have used a drying oil, but didn't; might try it with the next brush, since it appears I will have to buy one).
So; nice brush; poor availability of *some* replacement parts. 3 stars for not being able to replace the back separately from the brush; if you could, it'd be 5 stars without question. the ergonomics are as advertised (the arch may prevent the bristles from resting on the counter, but who cares-they make it easier to get into corners and crannies which would be tough to reach with a straight brush, and in my world, that's what counts). The brush itself does wear a bit rapidly, but replacement heads are inexpensive (relatively speaking) and the brush is very effective. I like it, but it isn't perfect. It is, however, close.
If only the heads stayed in place and didn't pop out! So frustrating and I had hoped that replacement heads would work better, but they're just as loose as the original head.
These brush heads are exactly the right fit for my brush - the Laid Back brush. There are different types of handles from Full Circle so read the description- they make another brush with an integrated soap head. After years of using an OXO brush with the soap head, I decided I didn't need it. This brush looks so much nicer.

I like the look of this, but the replaceable heads stopped staying on after a while. Very frustrating, can't wait for eco-chic to be consistenly usable.Published on January 31, 2014 by Face
