It is not necessary to also purchase angel stickers, since the images are often duplicated.

The images are somewhat "soft", not as crisp as some others I have. But for holiday card making, especially the "Victorian" style, this works fine. There are many images to choose from. I printed them on glossy photo paper, cut them out and adhered them to my cards with double-sided adhesive. Smaller angels can be used for pretty old-fashioned gift tags. I suggest very fine scissors or, if you have a very steady hand, an EXACTO knife with a stencil blade. Keep sharp implements away from children.

I love Dover books! In twenty years I will still be able to use these vintage angels. There are full body ones, face and wings only, youthful faces and adult female faces. Some are singing and playing instruments, other are holding flowers, Xmas trees, food, a lamb... you name it. I can use the CD provided, or I can scan the pages at a higher resolution so that I can enlarge the images without losing quality. This book is definitely worth the full retail price of $19.95, even though I bought it here used on Amazon.com for half that cost!

The quality of the images in this book and especially on the CD, is totally disgusting and I have written to Dover Publications to complain, although I received no response! One cannot use the vast majority of the images for anything they are SO bad, in fact I personally have not been able to use any of them. I tried to scan them myself from the book, to see if they would be any better but they were bad, because the original print is bad! They are so badly " cut out" from the original image, one would think a child could do better, there are wings missing, and they have been blown up so badly from the original image they are just a mass of dots!
