Experience Full Life in Christ

Experiencing abundant joy and dynamic power is possible for every Christian today. But first, we need to focus on the life and personality of Christ. Andrew Murray paints a portrait of the Son of God that will arouse your desire to be like Him. Depicted in these pages are many characteristics of Christ, including His compassion, His self–denial, His oneness with the Father, His prayer life, and His use of Scripture.

You will discover how you can have a full life in Him and how you, too, can reflect he life and love of Jesus in your daily walk.

About the Author

South African pastor and author Andrew Murray (1828—1917) was an amazingly prolific writer. Murray began writing on the Christian life for his congregation as an extension of his local pastoral work, but he became internationally known for his books, such as With Christ in the School of Prayer and Abide in Christ, that searched men's hearts and brought them into a deep relationship with Christ. Writing with an intensity of purpose and zeal for the message of the gospel, Murray wrote numerous books even after his "retirement" at age seventy–eight.

Format: Paperback
Andrew Murray lived the life of which he so often wrote and spoke. The life sanctified and immersed in Christ. Over the course of many years, his writings became more clear as his understanding of our true sanctification in Christ became more cognitive to him. I love his books because in them he gives us an insight into living the truth as it is stated plainly in the scriptures.
Full Life in Christ begins with an amazingly beautiful chapter that sets forth immediately the principles and understanding of what it is to be a Christian. Referencing the scripture of 1 John 2:6, one that most Pastors and teachers stress as a goal or a work to be accomplished by us as we make ourselves more holy by our own efforts, Murray beautifully enlightens us to the fact that it is God who makes us holy and asks for it to be so. The fruit of a life in Christ is the life of Christ in us, it is a life like Christ. This strikes our hearts with resounding truth. We all know it to be true. It is not a long term goal that occurs one second prior to death through a slow and painful process of self disciplined sanctification, it is how we should be right now by the divine power of God. Unlike the way Murray's book "Abide in Christ" waffles between self effort and godly impartation to result in a holy life, this chapter speaks of abiding in Christ as something we consent to, something we cannot do ourselves, and something that God alone in truth has done for us.
Although chapters 2 and 3 tend towards leaving the possible impression that walking in Christ is something we must bring ourselves to do, chapter 4 dispels this wrong view by asserting in boldness the fact that it is He who works in us to make possible the following of Him by walking in His steps.

I have read this book and given as gifts to several people for growth and enlightenment. It is outstanding and a deep walk into the life of a dedicated Christian. There is much help within these pages, and a sure encouragement in one's walk with the Lord.

I have read most of Andrew Murray's writings and have loved each one. They have helped me in my growth and understanding of God's purpose for our lives. They are indepth and very clear as to how God wants us to live our lives in order to be yielded and surrendered to His heart. There are clear directives on achieving a "Full Life in Christ."

If you have a hunger and thirst to know the heart of God, these books will help you to get there.

In His Love,
