WHY ARE THE BLADES NOT TAPED SAFE IN THE PACKAGING?!!!

I have yet to use this product. I just removed one of the cutting items from its package and literally skinned the tip of my finger off!! Bleeding profusely!!! The main blade is taped up for safety, but all the attachments are bagged, but nothing is done to protect yourself from the blade when retrieving out of the bag! Something needs to be done so this doesn't happen to someone else. That extra bit of safety would have saved my fingertip...

The glove wouldn't fit someone with large hands, and is too big for kid's. With supervision my 7 yr. was able to use it. It cut everything very well with each blade. The lid doesn't fit securely, but it does stay on just moved some. The direction explained safety, cleaning and how to use each blade very well. The blades were easy to put on and take off. Also the container has rubber grips on each end so I didn't have to worry about it moving while slicing vegatables. I ended up taking the glove off so I could hold the holder better. I decided to see how it would work cutting strawberries I used the smaller holder that is recommended to slice smaller pieces gently pushing down I was able to cut them up as you can see in my picture. Overall I would recommend this product to friends and family. Thanks for the opportunity to test it out.
