story. Even though this book was not the genre I usually read I whole heartily recommend it.
I had a hard time putting the book down, maybe because I'm in my 70's, and concerned with the future. I certainly cheered hard for the realistic heroine and her daughter, as they developed their relationship.
The interactions and relationships between the main characters may be what the book is ABOUT. But what it leaves you with is an appreciation that comes from realising life does go on, there can still be much to enjoy, and it's the people around you that really make life worth living. Celebrating, even.
This book had me entranced by midway thru the second chapter. The characters were so well written that I was concerned what the end of the book would bring hoping that each one would be content with their fate. This story is a wonderful exploration of love, family and friendship. And I will go so far as to say it is a point of hope for those concerned about their family members who may be nearing what is commonly thought of as a lonely stage of life.
I hope I do no have to wait long for Bear in Mind to see what is next for this wonderful cast of characters.
