This is a fine book, as many people have said. But I wanted to note that my copy, which calls itself an Indian Edition (this is the third edition, paperback, with a black cover depicting a tilted cube, and a red triangle in the upper left corner of the cover), is missing both of the Appendices, as well as the Solutions to Odd-Numbered Problems, and the Preface. Also, the Table of Contents has been replaced with just a list of chapter names and beginning page numbers, with no references to the removed sections. So this is a case where an international edition is NOT the same as the USA version. Currently the Amazon listing says "Same contents". This appears not to be true, or at least not always.
