Despite this, overall, I will say, I'm happy with it. I have him on my work monitor right now.
I'm just glad the price wasn't all that bad. I think that's one of the good things I can say. Considering this pop is slightly more complex than others (and has more to him than the other Pickle Rick pop which is the same price), and has a lot of little areas and tight spots, the price point was good.
My advice if you're thinking about buying ANY funko pop online: don't, unless you're willing to gamble. If there's a store near you, where you can find these funkos, you may want to do that instead, so you can verify the quality of the figure.
The answer is: not much.
No, the paint isn't perfect. It's a $10 plastic figurine. I think you need to have realistic expectations.
FFS, the cheapest hand painted figurine on amazon is about $20....twice the cost of this product. Also, those are dragons and other random animals....which don't have to pay anyone for usage rights. If you want a hand painted figurine, go spend for one.
Unlike regular Rick, whose head is gigantic, this guy actually stands on his own. He's pretty gross with warts all over him and the little rat legs...which is pretty fantastic.
My only complaint is that most of the "pickle" portion of his body is a little bland. But, then again, it's a pickle so I don't know for sure what I was expecting. After all, it does have the first aid pickle patch stapled to his side.
I might just be angry that the laser isn't functional.
