Almost Angry Groot anyone?

I pre-ordered this Amazon exclusive once it was available. It was initially set to deliver 7/11/17. Received earlier than expected. He is cute and made a new addition to my growing Funko Groot collection. He is not much taller than Baby Groot, (but this still very young Groot, so that is not surprising). The box was well packaged so the Funko box had no damage (I am an IBC, so I was happy about this). Overall, he's Groot and he is cute and he's almost angry.

So... this little guy is actually used as a classroom management device in my 2nd grade classroom and the by golly do the students love him. Really, he's hilarious, a moody, angry expression that relies on the simplest lines and qualities. The bobble head nature is very cool, and his size makes him great for carrying around. He almost completely takes place of the "teacher look".

I believe this is the first Amazon Exclusive Funko. The paint job, design, and detail are outstanding. The top of his head really has some nice detail to it. My 3 year old loves Groot and it’s a challenge to keep him from climbing furniture to get this one off the shelf. Figure stands nicely on its own. Box, etc. arrived in great shape.

I am very happy with this piece. It's really cute and goes well with my collection. It looks just like the picture: a pouty adolescent Groot. The head bobbles gently and perfectly. I got mine in a manufacturer's box, which is how you want them because it keeps the box in mint condition. I can't wait to see adolescent Groot in the next movie!

The Pop! is awesome! I ordered it for my wife. She is a huge GOTG and Groot fan. The packaging was terrible. The box was destroyed. I know they consider their boxes transport pieces only, but this was a limited, exclusive, and we are in-box collectors. Of our, currently 700 piece, collection, this was one of the worst boxes received.

But the Pop! is perfect! Funko nailed another one!
