I'm somewhat ambivalent with regards to these funnels.

First, let's talk about the specs, so you have a better idea of what the manufacturer means by "mini":

The diameter of the top of the funnel is 1 1/2". The circumference of the top of the funnel is 4.7115". From the top of the funnel to the bottom is 2 1/8". The opening at the bottom is about 1.5mm - essentially, it's as if someone took a straight pin and poked a hole using it. In other words, it's a near-useless sized opening.

The good news is that you can trim that end up the length of the funnel and thus make your exit hole bigger. You have nearly an inch of nozzle to cut back until you feel the flow is sufficient. I ended up doing that with both of mine, cutting them back to different lengths, which basically gave me two funnels with two different rates of flow.

These are useful to have on hand if you are dealing with particularly small containers... but the fact that the manufacturer is so completely vague with regards to the size (and the picture misleading with regards to size), definitely costs these a star.

The second lost star is because of price. Quite frankly, it's outrageous for this item.

This is not an item I would buy again.

USEFUL! USEFUL! A real budget stretcher! Corporations are starting to put oval shaped lids on products such as shampoo, conditioner, etc so you cannot take the top off to add water and stretch your dollar, especially a thick product at the bottom of an almost-empty bottle. The holes on these corporate lids or caps are microscopic, again making it hard to pour in water and dilute the product. These funnels allow you to put water into the smallest aperture and get around these corporate machinations! One funnel I use to add water to shampoo and conditioner bottles when they are almost empty. I have left this first funnel in its original condition. However, I snipped a tiny bit off the second funnel with regular, rather dull scissors and use it to pour thick olive oil into the lid of my Kraft ranch dressing. One funnel for the bathroom and one for the kitchen. It's penny wise and pound foolish not to have these funnels in your budget arsenal. Highly recommend!

Purchased this so I can pour my gatorade/powerade powder into my plastic water bottles that I took to the gym. The bases were WAAAAY too narrow, so I ended up cutting the bottom part (and part of the basE) off with a pair of scissors, making the funnel a little larger at the bottom. Worked well, but looked really ghetto. Whatever, it did the trick.

These things are TINY. I think I imagined them being a lot bigger, but they are about to scale with the little lemons in the background picture. Be aware of this before purchase. It's not really ideal for drink or large volumes of liquid since the tiny openings will cause overflow if you pour too fast.

I actually purchased these for my boss because she had been looking and looking for some small funnels so she could use them to pour in a powder drink mixture into her water bottles. Well, I was ordering something as it is and so i decided to go ahead and purchase for her. Wow, these things are freakishly small. The only thing that could fit through the hole it comes with is liquid. And even then I would honestly be surprised anything would fit through that hole at all. However, nothing a good pair-o-scissors couldn't fix! I just chopped off the skinny part, pretty much right to the bottom of the "V" / cone shape and it worked like a charm. But just wanted to make sure people were aware of how tiny they were. Hard to know when purchasing online.

No Good For E-Juice Transfer

I was looking for a very, very small funnel, and these are definitely it. They are adorable.

The funnels seem sturdy. I guess. They are funnels; not much to say.

I'm writing this review to warn others who might purchase these funnels for the purpose of transferring e-cig juice into small bottles. The e-juice liquid is too thick, and it moves through the narrow neck of the little funnel way too slowly to be of any use. This doesn't mean there's anything wrong with the funnels themselves, they just aren't any good for this particular task.

The product is much darker than is shown in the picture, first off; though I didn't deduct stars for that reason. The main reason I deducted stars was for the somewhat ridiculous price them, which I'd print, but it would only end up getting deleted. A couple bucks is what they should be going for, let's just put it that way. As far as the product goes, the exit portion of the funnel is very small, so my oils wouldn't go through the holes. After using a razor to cut off a portion from the tip, it worked perfectly. I use a small paper clip, unwound, to clean the funnel tip. All in on, I'm happy with the purchase, as I couldn't find anything similar around, but I can't help but think it was priced the way it was for that very reason. C'mon hutzler...in this economy? Go easy on us.

Great MINI funnels with a smallest beak

I was looking for a funnel with the smallest beak. Of all that I tried, these have the smallest beak less than 1/8 of an inch in external diameter. The downside is that they are truly tiny. It can probably hold only 10 ML. I wish they made the beak this small with larger reservoir may be 100 ml?

If what you need is the smallest width beak, this is probably the best product you can find.
