Furinno Easi Folding Portable Desk is designed for space saving and budget saving concept. It takes up minimum storage space when not in use. Happy with his gift....

I bought this as a gift, and he was very happy with it. It is much sturdier than than other tv trays I've seen, and it was a couple inches higher than the old one he had. 2 people can put their plates on it and share it, I'm not saying it's huge, I'm just saying it can be done. I have an 18.4" laptop, w/ mouse and it fit nicely on the top, and didn't feel like it would tip over. I will probably get him another one.

It took more than 20 min to put together, maybe 45. Using a screwdriver did take some extra effort. You do have to pay close attention to how you line up the hardware, the holes are Not "Clearly" visible, but they are there. You also need to pay attention to the way it unfolds before you screw down the top, as I noticed it was folded backwards for shipping, I would advise that you fully unfold and double check it Before you start putting the screws to it. I can see that if you don't catch this, it will not look or operate properly.

Not a Bad Buy when All the Pieces are in the Box

For use as a small desk for my tablet computer, peripherals, and office supplies it has worked well. It has stood solidly with no issues under regular use while typing with my arms resting on the table.

This product is getting four stars because one of the locking casters is not seated flush with the metal tube. The table is just about level (barely noticeable that one corner is slightly higher) so I weighed using the required amount of force for the last quarter inch vs a broken table. The top surface does chip and scratch easily, so the directions about placing the table on a soft surface are accurate. A small chip in one corner of the tabletop was caused when the table was upside down and I exerted pressure to try and force in a caster.

The table is a little larger than an oversized TV tray. The table is stable if assembled correctly and the parts are cut correctly. The item received had all parts and they were machined properly. One catch when assembling is the purchaser needs to verify that the screw holes will line up on all four attachment points before tightening anything down. The wood used for the tabletop can be a little soft, so you'll want to try and get all screws positioned well the first time. Out of the 12, probably two on the table I assembled aren't flush but they are holding well.

Something to be aware of is that the closed leg side swings through the open leg side when re-folding the table for storage. You need to have a solid grip on the table so it does not topple when folding, and also that the casters on the closed leg side are oriented down toward the floor. If turned in that direction, the folded table is freestanding. All in all it is a satisfactory purchase, but I can understand why the product received some negative reviews.

When we first received this table and my husband put it together, I was not much of a fan as it was unsteady and seemed flimsier than I wanted. It appears to be of cheaper quality and doesn't really look spectacular if you plan to use it as a furniture piece for display. It is just as utitarian as it appears in the picture. However, after my husband fixed the initial unsteadiness and uneven wheels, I have been happier with it.

It certainly is for function over beauty, however, it folds easily and is lightweight. It glides over my harwood without scratching the floors, which is a major necessity for me. The top is smooth and even laminate, the legs on mine are painted white. It looks slightly better than the picture.

It is definitely an improvement from the typical set of wooden tv trays that tip over and scratch your hardwood floors. While I am not in love with it, it gets the job done. I haven't found anything I like better and I don't plan on sending it back.

Pros:
folds and can be put away
laminate top smooth
functions well as a living room tray for your laptap or eating dinner
perfect for hardwood floors- rolls well without scratching them

Cons:
utilitarian looking, not a display piece of furniture
initially was unsteady when we put it together, although we were able to fix it
quality of materials so-so

I was looking for something, that was high enough and sturdy, with wheels to give to a senior citizen, who enjoys lunch in her lift-type recliner.

The table top has something to be desired. I ordered two of these. On one table I ordered, the top was thicker and more substantial. On this one it was a bit flimsy. It looks exactly like the photo. I might consider, putting a custom wood top on it, but it is working well for its intended purpose.

The design of the table is great and I haven't found anything as good. It is easy to store and stands on its on. It was high enough to pull over the arm of an easy chair. Opens and closes easily. The recipient was very pleased. I looked high and low for something like this. Would recommend.

It's a nice table but it took 2 ppl and 1 full hour to assemble which is ridiculous cause this is a small table (Ikea stuff is easier to assemble than this). The makers of this table did not make it easy on the consumer at all. The "preset holes" for the nails were just markings that I needed to drill first with a long nail to create the hole and then be able to use the nails it came with to assemble the thing. The box it came in was huge so you would think it would come assembled already and all we would need to do is just take it out the box but that's not case. I only kept it after assembling it cause it took so much effort to do so and I didn't want to take it apart to return it.

It's a fine table but cheaply made. You need to install the top yourself but the holes in the shelves doesn't match the one on the stands. And once I tried to fold it one of the screw got ripped off from the wood. It's fine if you don't intend to fold it...
