This was not a very long series, but I think it was just right for Fury. I am hopeful that there will be more books set in this "world" because I loved all of the characters in this series. This book has a wonderful story in it, and a wonderful ending. It shows just how strong these people are and teaches you that you really must go on, no matter what happens.
The characters are quite strong, which I come to expect from this author. The story itself is so well written, I felt like I was part of the book. Yet again, it shows you that you can depend on your loved ones, they can help you become a stronger and better person. You are not alone.
I highly recommend this book and series!
Join Fury, the Theosian and Demi- goddess bound to Hecate, her lover Tam, Laren, Jason, Elan , Greta, Hans, and Tyrell and others as they accustom themselves to life in a post -apocalypse world.
The Black Mist, with evil leader, Lyon, and the Devani, have joined forces, much to the chagrin of all.
Out killing an Abom on the Crossroads, Fury has a vision of Gaia involving the World Tree. Gaia shows Fury that the only way to save the World is to destroy a portal and stop Lyon and the Black Mist from releasing the Gods of Chaos.
Fury has one chance to destroy the portal, and stop Lyon and the Black Mist forever.
But at what cost? And one of her team is a traitor, but whom?
An incredible read, with so many twists and turns, I was truly on the edge of my seat with all the excitement and thrills.
I loved this book, and Ms. Galenorn delivered yet another amazing read.
I get that when an author writes a series they have to recap the previous books and relevant information to carry new readers forward, however the way that Yasmine does this is frankly disappointing and downright lazy. I skipped over entire paragraphs of recap knowledge from previous books without missing anything, and you can too: there is nothing original about cut-and-paste for paragraphs of previous content. PLEASE, Yasmine, take this to heart and WRITE NEW CONTENT moving forward. I am a huge scifi fan and your novels disappoint me in this manner.
If I wanted to re-read your introduction or background for your charachters I would refer back to your previous novels. The fact that you recycle the same paragraphs, descriptions, and chapters without summarizing or rewriting the content is boring, lazy, and infuriating as a reader. I am disappointed in your writing style, and for this reason I will not be exploring your other work, even though I like the storyline of the Fury Unbound series. I am sad to say this, because when I find an author whose work I like I tend to subscribe to their mailing lists, but you will not be one of them.
I look forward to you taking the criticisms and feeback in earnest and improving your writing style. I cannot justify spending $5 on a digital book that is 10% recycled media when I can get something two or three times as long from Alex Albrinck, Piers Anthony, or Edward Robertson for the same price with all original media. PLEASE work on this - I like your writing style and content, but I hate to feel like I wasted money on the same recycled media. You are capable of doing better, please show your readers that you get that, otherwise you have lost a reader.
