I bought the 4 liter non stick Futura Q57 kadhai (wok). the thickness of this wok is pretty good and is a heavy wok. This is the kadhai that I have been looking for years in American stores and couldn’t find. This is an absolutely perfect wok to deep fry or to make curries for 4-6 people. I have Aloo Matar, Kheema Matar, Fish curries, Cauliflower curry, etc and it was a joy to cook with this wok. The round bottom is its specialty which helps in cooking with leas oil, because the oil just spreads out from the sides, as you add the ingredients and it fries ir sautés evenly! Just love it... this is perfect if you want to make curries!

I looked into many products I saw reviews and got this one, but it’s not sturdy on top of the stove. If you are cooking around kidS please be careful and I’d rather get a kadai that’s Sturdy on stove.

If you are confused between brands and thinking as to why you need to spend this much think no more. I was in a similar state and glad that I purchased Hawkins. Its been more than 1.5 years since I been using this product and the inner coating is as good as new. Use a silicone ladle with this and clean using soft scrubber (preferably pink one from scotch brite) and the product will last you really long. Impressive quality and durability. This product is worth every rupee spent. When your helper washes it just ask them to keep this separately as occasional rubbing with steel/aluminium utensils can damage the coating.
FYI... my helper forgets to do this most of the time and ends up using green scrubber still the product has shown no signs of damage on coating. However as it is placed along with other utensils the edges have developed minor scratches. Nothing serious.

Hawkins never compromise with quality. Thats why the price is way higher than other brands. Close your eyes and choose a hawkin product and you've still have the best product in your hand. For other brands you have check the model in hand before buying it. So.. 70% price is for the product quality and 30%...? For the privilege of buying anything with your eyes closed.

See the picture and the rivets there in. These are very unsafe. A moving spatula can get stuck in them and that can send the hot pan with hot oil tumbling down on someone's feet. Be very careful when you cook in this. Hope Hawkins looks at my review

nonstick 30cm kadai round bottom with lid

1. Packaging was not on expected lines - didn't have a separate cover for kadai, but a cover was provided for the lid- surprising... care should hold have been taken by the supplier, cloudtail ( amazon retail arm) and amazon themselves as it is amazon delivered.
2. one of the handles had a small peel-off at the back indicating it should have been an "open box" item( like what they call in USA) or manufacturing defect
3. but the quality I expected is found there that was why I didn't return yet... Futura's flat bottom kadai product I returned due to inappropriate description and ordered this item.
4. hope it will work well by retaining the same quality for some years at least, though we pay very much attention to the maintainance of the product
