I think the end part of this book says it all. Holt needed to be in the club and in a scene to express how he felt about Simone. Their whole life is playacting, control and domination. No friendship, kindness or anything normal. It was too much.
When an old threat rears its head, Holt finally realizes that his world is not as black and white as it has been most of his life. Simone has moved him into technicolors. If Simone can only move beyond her personal shame even if it's only to apologize for lying to him, maybe there's a chance for them and an HEA.
This is such a great story of healing love on both Holt and Simone's parts. Watch her inner resolve and strength evolve and his highly regimental view of life alter was fabulous. This is such a great series! I've read each book (most of them twice) and eagerly await the next in the series.
Simone has managed to rebuild her life after she blew her relationship with her Dom, Holt, apart a year ago. She is now working on PR for Club Voltare, but she hasn't had any contact with Holt until now. There is no doubt the attraction between them is still there, but can they overcome their past history. Who is trying to sabotage the club and why is Simone so stressed about contact from Alan Crennel?
I hadn't read any of the earlier Club Voltare books, but I will be going back to read them. I can't wait for the next book in the series.

Quite a few typos and editing errors spread throughout the story. They aren't enough to hurt the story, but you do find yourself rereading some passages because of them.
One thing for sure, Chloe Cox knows how to write a very hot, steamy and erotic scene that somehow is filled with romance and intense emotion. This she is most definitely a true master at.

Simone and Holt got their story. This one was a bit different but in no way less. I loved the growth that both characters showed through out the book. I also loved how it was referenced multiple times how Simone used the tools she was taught in rehab to help in her everyday battle to maintain her sobriety. I am happy that by the end of the story both has evoked form two halves into one whole beautiful love!
