As I now hope to pursue a career in risk management and markets (or something related to that) I know that the knowledge I gained with the help of this book will help to carry me throughout my career. This book is one that I foresee myself continuously using.
On a more technical note, it is a very sturdy book, with thicker pages than most. You can highlight things without the ink running through to the other side. It is bound very well and has not shown any signs of coming loose. It is a small book, which made it easy to carry to class or around campus with me (not something I normally do). It did however, manage to survive the wear and tear of my backpack this semester and is still in great shape.
Even if you are someone who is weary of purchasing textbooks, because you never use them. This book is worth it. If your instructor never even assigns something for you to read, this text is well worth the money for a reference at the very least.
