I had purchased a different one, different brand and it would snag my skin when trying to tighten the band. I also would hurt when wearing it. This one has a 'fabric fold' that keeps the hard plastic from touching and snagging the skin. It is very comfortable to the point I forget I am using it. The price is also half of what I saw at CVS. Great buy.

I've used both the arm warp and this smaller one. Both work well, but for different purposes. If your feeling a strain all the way to your upper arm, I recommend the full wrap around. This one work well when I have twitches when swinging the golf ball.

So far so good. I have suffered Tennis Elbow off & on for yrs. Type of work I do. I had a flare up. I needed a pressure pad type support, this has work out fairly well. Its not going to work for everyone. HERE are some ideas: It depends on how bad your condition is, talk to a doctor. I use my TENS Unit, Ice or heat depending on how it feels. I have regular Tennis Elbow bands that support but at times you need that pressure spot, pointed support. Massage your arms every-time you can. Find a edge of a door entrance and just rub & press up & down the muscle, tendon, like kneading dough. Loosen it up. Be proactive. Ice work out better this time around, they are starting to calm down with the help of pressure pointed supports.

Still looking for a better one. Have the impression that the models for most braces are muscular men or fat people, not women with small physiques and narrow arms. Can only use this one above the elbow. Below elbow, it just slides on down to my wrist! What I need is a narrower and shorter length brace to fit below the elbow. Hard to find.

As a career martial artist, I've gotten a case of tennis elbow in both arms, due to large amounts of weapons practice (I'm looking at you, nunchaku). I purchased a Mueller HG80 Tennis Elbow Bracelet from Amazon based on great reviews for my arm that was worse off, figuring I'd just leave the other for now or rotate usage of it. However, it became apparent that I needed another arm band ASAP. I still hadn't received my Mueller brace, so I went up to target and picked this support up.

They cost the same amount of money, but the quality of construction is clearly with the Mueller. This thing has a soft pad for a support, whereas the Mueller has some foam inside that makes it a bit stiffer. That stiffness is exactly what you need in a product like this.

The band also slips up and down the forearm constantly. I was readjusting it beneath my uniform every so often, and found myself trying to tighten it far too much in order to compensate. This won't do you any favors! By comparison, when the Mueller arrived, I hardly had any complaints with it at all. In fact, I ordered another one, figuring I just lost out on the money I spent on the Futuro.

Here's the link to the product that satisfies my needs. I believe it will help you too: Mueller Tennis Elbow Brace 1 Count

I could not get over how ridiculously scratchy this band is and I simply couldn't wear it for any length of time.

I've bought about a dozen elbow straps over the past several weeks and very few have been up to par (pun somewhat intended for you medial/golfer's elbow types). In my opinion, the best straps I've come across are Mueller Hg80 and Bracoo Tennis/Golf Elbow Strap with EVA Pad. Mueller has a sleek look if you like the Harley Davidson thing and Bracoo looks like somebody glue-gunned a piece of foam to elastic, but the elbow pain is severe enough that I wouldn't care if they were covered in Spongebob fabric so long as they WORK. The fact is that they're slim, have low profiles (for elbow straps that is, at least), don't slip much (so long as you put them at the exact right tension), and put a good amount of pressure where I need it.

As you can tell, I'm not the biggest fan of these monstrosities. For the life of me, I cannot figure out why the majority of elbow straps are freakishly huge and thick when all you need is a small area of pressure, but whatever. They're better than nothing.

I'd used this Futuro brace for tennis elbow for about 15 years, but it got so old that it pulled apart. I can't fault it for that; I got many years of use out of it, far more than my "money's worth." I went to the local Walgreen's expecting to spend about $7-10 and was appalled to find that this was the most expensive Futuro item they had, costing almost $30! The same was true at a couple of other local places I checked. Only Amazon had it for a semblance of the price I paid several years ago. The bargain price, the proven efficacy (for me at least), and the proven durability earn this item 5 stars.

I was diagnosed with a bone spur in my elbow and this helped alleviate the pain during most activities. The tendon pad cushion along with the extra length under the buckle was a nice touch and makes it comfortable to wear. You do sweat under the brace during strenuous activity but it is better than being in pain.
