"More importantly, this didn't feel like a story based on what was once a children's toy property. Instead, there was a pulp adventure sensibility to the entire novella that kept me as a reader on the edge of my seat. The story never lagged and the use of many of the signature Adventure Team accessories and vehicles never once felt like product placement but rather logical tools used by the brave men of the Adventure Team. In other words, it was a perfect use of the source material to tell a story chock full of mystery and suspense!"

From the Author
Little surprise then that I set out to make a real Adventure Team prose story a reality, considering the impact it had on my childhood, and the childhoods of millions of kids across the decades. My goal with MYSTERY OF THE SUNKEN TOMB was to somehow capture at least a little of that good ol' feeling of playing Adventure Team back in the early 1970s, and I hope I achieved that. I had a blast loading the novella up with AT equipment and phrases and anything else I could fit in, but the emphasis was always on the story. Readers will be the judge of whether or not I succeeded.
I'm grateful to Hasbro and Kindle Worlds for opening up this property and making one of my writing dreams come true through it.
