Overall it's very fast memory. No complaints there. I just could not get it stable at 1.25V. XMP profile was set and timings/frequency were all correct. Brand new Asrock z77 extreme4 motherboard updated to the newest bios, brand new Intel core i5 3570k. Random reboots and won't pass memtest 86+ without errors at 1.25V. Bumped it to 1.35V and it seems to be doing better. Hasn't rebooted yet and passed 2 tests of memtest 86+ so far. Will update if anything changes. If I would have known it would not be stable at 1.25V I would have just gone with a 1.35V or 1.5V model instead and saved some money.

update: 5/4/2013
After extensive time and testing of the memory as well as overclocking, underclocking, undervolting of my cpu (3570k on asrock z77 extreme4) I found that 1.35V is still not completely stable, random lockups sometimes days in between. 1.5v I had no stability issues with so far. Currently testing 1.4V. Disappointing when this is on the certified memory list for my motherboard.

Works without problems. Memory can be pretty boring, it's like infrastructure. This *can* work at 1.25 v, but it won't unless you use the XMP profile. Otherwise it runs at 1.35 v, which won't hurt anything, since that's part of the JEDEC standard and all the current generation of Intel CPUs suppport either voltage. Caveat emptor.

G.Skill memory (recommended by many MOBO mfts) helped resolve a problem I experienced with an ASROCK P67X4G3 mobo (mid-2011) ... and was a no-brainer decission for my ASROCK Z68X4G3 built in Jan 2012. The two 4GB sticks were recognized immediately and tested perfect with both computers. Did I say fast ... yes and at low voltage (1.25V) which means it runs with less energy and produces less heat. They are XMP certified and I like that performance setting. Added a second exactly matching pair (ASROCK requires exact matching pairs for the XMP setup) on the Z68 MOBO to allow working on extremely large topographic maps. It solved a "not enough memory" problem, if you can emagine. That gave the computer 16GBs and gaves Win7/64 Home Premium all the latitutde it needs to extend its performance. I am not a gamer, but mess around with them occassionally ...:) The Z68X4G3 was purchased from Amazon and has been excelleent with no issues. G.Skill is rapidly becoming one of the favorite "choices" for computer builders I know. They work very well and if they don't, G.Skill backs them up.

Very satisfied G.Skill customer.

Very well made, feels very solid, works without errors, dependable, I would recommend. I have not overclocked so I won't speak of that. Nice low profile which is one of my biggest concerns when it comes to clearing any CPU I may choose. I have the Hyper 212 and it's fine.

the memory came on time however I have had nothing but blue screen issues since I have received them . I have yet to be sure if I received bad memory modules or incompatibility with the same memory I already have which are the same ones.

Love this RAM, but would probably check out G.Skill's Ripjaws next time. I have two sets of this in my system, and I've usually had trouble getting the system to recognize its proper timings, even with extensive BIOS tweaking. Otherwise, great RAM. Would suggest during decent sales.

I first had Win7 32bit OS installed.We were having a problem getting the 64bit installed.So I was only able to access 4gb (3.75 useable).

After I got the 64bit installed I had no problems kicking it up to 1600mhz and having my PC register all 8gb.

When I do upgrade to a MoBo with 4 DDR3 DIMM slots, I am ordering 8gb more of this exact ram.....16gb will be all I ever need.

Edit: 4 months now, I think, and I still have had no problems. Great Product!

Edit #2: 6 months. Perfect still... Just a heads up: Some say that 4GB is plenty for a standard gaming rig, that is wrong. It will still function properly, but I regularly exceed 4Gb. Running Battlefield 3, Dxtory recording software, and whatever internet browser, and all the stuff Windows 7 runs in the back ground, I hit 4.5GB+. Still haven't hit 5GB yet, so an 8GB kit is plenty. :)

Fits great into my low power file server running freeNAS since it only requires 1.25 volts. So far it's been rock solid and I leave it running 24/7. The longest up-time I had so far was about 50 days but rebooted for some software updates. Thinking about buying for my ivy bridge machine as well.
