I’d give Lethal Believers DVM ten stars if possible!
The first part of Lethal Believers Series was a great 5 star read but this second one...WOW! I'd give it ten stars if possible. Investigator Danta continues his battle against the evil, forming strange alliances as trying to help The Innocents. Danta teams up with Greek myth Lamia as they share a common goal. Protect The Innocents and fight on their behalf. Ancient myths becomes alive, and a bed time stories are not just stories anymore when G. M. Baker skillfully entwines the story of Danta and the story of Kagan, her father Evan and a horse called Random together.
A very, very hooking story where every word matters and you simply cannot put it down until the book is finished!
This well written book will keep you on the edge of your seat. It is definitely not predictable nor is it a typical paranormal story. Just when you think you have read every possible story line or plot, a new twist of events and scenarios appears. The sophistication in the writing will keep you guessing. D.V.M. is an intriguing well-written story… The writing is clever, precise, clear and at the same time complex.
The scene with Random is so real, so heartbreaking, so emotional … it is a rare author that can make the readers scream ‘NO!’, while reading. The myths and the characters were fascinating. Believable characters melded with an excellently interwoven plot make this a ‘must read’ and a very difficult book to put down once started. This story with all its intrigue and suspense will certainly grab your attention and the grip will hold you all the way through...
