This is my first experience with wireless charging and I'm happy to report the SlimPWRpatch from Fonesalesman works like a charm. Besides the clear and easy to understand instructions that comes with the patch, there's also a great step by step video available to watch online before you do the installation. My own installation went perfectly on the first attempt thanks to the quality design of the patch. I've had absolutely no issues at all with aligning my phone on the wireless charging pad- just set it on and it charges every time. I especially liked the pre-allignment adhesive tabs that allow you to test and re-position the patch BEFORE permanently adhering the patch to your phone! One tip I'd like to pass along: The factory installed NFC sticker on my phone came off very hard! I assume because the phone is over a year old and has gone through many charging (warm up / cool down) cycles which apparently makes the sticker dry and brittle. Mine came off in tiny fragments of plastic and dried adhesive, and I resorted to using hot water and Goo-b-Gone to completely remove it! My LG G-4 back cover happens to be the plain plastic type so this method doesn't cause any harm as long as you dry it completely, and keep the phone body well away from your work area (No kidding!- it was a huge mess!) If you have the leather back cover, you'll need to take extra care in the removal process if your factory sticker is as stubborn as mine was! In either event the SlimPWRpatch is well worth the money and brief installation time, and I'm happy to recommend it.

Installed easily on LG G4 with leather back thanks to the step-by-step online instructional video. Wireless charging was established on the first try. However, this did not last. Within an hour the phone was no longer charging. I discovered that I needed to shim the contacts to maintain wireless charging. It took a fair amount of trial and error to find the appropriate shim thickness that both maintained contact while allowing the cover to properly close. Consequently, I have marked down this product one star. I will follow-up with a report on long-term reliability.

I have an extra original cover as reference, so I can say that with 100% confidence. The installation video is also a bit misleading since I had to literally scrub off the copper NFC antenna with sandpaper since it was glued with cyanoacrylate or something equally strong.

Think twice (or even thrice) before ordering this thing. It is not as easy to apply as they want you to believe and NFC functionality doesn't seem to work at all.

UPDATE: As of today (March 16, 2018) it stopped working. No wireless charging, no NFC, nothing. It is dead. Very disappointing. Changing three stars to one.

After buying the LG G4 circle case, I wanted to try this patch just because you can no longer use certain protective covers with the circle case. So, I watched the videos about this product and saw how easy it looked to install it. Then, I bought it to try it out. I watched the video one more time and then went about removing the OEM NFC backing. I installed this just as prescribed in the video, and it worked the first time out. I now have it permanently installed on my LG G4. I'm using it with the Soundbot wireless charger and it charges fine. If you have a LG G4 and you want wirless charging, then this is a great option. I highly recommend this.

Note: I haven't tried the NFC yet. I will update this accordingly if the NFC doesn't work. Otherwise, you can assume that it does work.

June 10, 2018 update- the NFC works great. Great option.

I have purchased a few different versions of this brand (SlimPWRpatch) over the years for many different phones. I've never had a problem until now. It worked fine for a couple of months in a brand new back (I used the one from the LG promo so I wouldn't void the warranty on the original case). However, NFC then stopped functioning, which is really bad considering I use a Yubikey as part of a multifactor authentication for a password manager. At first I thought it might be the phone, but I swapped back in the original cover and NFC worked fine with that, so it was definitely this patch. Qi charging still worked without issue, so it was pretty odd. I ended up buying a different Qi receiver patch (NeWisdom one) that came with a protective sticker that matches more of the OEM back and it has been working fine with NFC and Qi charging for now.

Did ton's of research. Yes, you can buy it cheaper on ebay. But installation is so much easier with this one. You can watch all the videos you want on competing companies to see how they make it seem so simple to align and use their QI patch. Well keep in mind, they have been doing it over and over again, hence they make it look easy. I paid a little extra because I didn't want to misalign and hence ruin a QI antenna. NFC charger works great too. It's one time investment if you put it on right, you put it on wrong, you will be frustrated and have to possibly get another one.

Wenn man die Anweisungen zur Installation, die im Video gezeigt werden, befolgt, dann funktioniert das Patch wunderbar. Habe das Patch in einem braunen Ledercover eingeklebt, alles funktioniert bestens, aber NFC leider nicht. Nun brauch ich NFC nicht, also ist's mir einerlei. Hinter den Kontakten hat der Hersteller kleine Plastikstreifen aufgeklebt, sodass bei geschlossenem Cover die Kontakte dicht aufliegen. Da ist wohl auf die vielen negativen Rezensionen reagiert worden. Das Cover geht allerdings etwas schwerer zu, sitzt aber fester am Gerät auf. Eine Erhöhung des Covers am Leiseknopf kann ich nicht feststellen.
Ich habe drei verschiedene Ladestationen im Haus, einmal Nokia DT-900 Nokia Wireless Charging Plate schwarz , dann Nokia MD-100W JBL PowerUp Kompakt-Lautsprecher für Nokia schwarz sowie http://www.amazon.de/HEADSOUND-box-Bluetooth-Lautsprecher-Ladestation-Wecker-schwarz/dp/B00QMEOOZA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1458578931&sr=8-1&keywords=headsound+qi+box. Auf allen Geräten funktioniert das Laden bestens. Ich habe das Phone allerdings in der Tasche: http://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B00Z545F1K?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00 in schwarz-rot, die im Moment in dieser Farbe nicht erhältlich ist. Wenn das Phone in dieser Tasche sitzt, wird das Phone nur auf dem Nokia-Charging-Plate geladen. Hatte vorher ein Lumia 820, dieses hat eine etwas empfindlichere Spule hinten drin, sodass es auf allen Geräten auch in einer Ledertasche geladen werden konnte. Da hatte NOKIA wirklich Maßstäbe in der Hardware gesetzt... Hab das Lumia mal in die TUCHH-Tasche gepackt, es wurde auf allen Geräten geladen... Das G4 eben nur auf dem Plate, schade. Das lässt den Schluss zu, dass diese Spule nicht sehr empfindlich ist.

Die Ladezeit ist etwas länger, als die mit dem von LG mitgelieferten Schnellladekabel, aber 40 min länger sind zu verkraften. Das ist mir kabelloses Laden aber wert. Dies ist eben ein genereller Nachteil von Qi-Laderei, da ein Teil der übertragenen Energie in Wärme verloren geht. Das Gerät wird warm, aber nicht so warm, wie mein altes Lumia.

Fazit: Guter Ersatz für die Charging-Cover-Variante von LG. NFC funktioniert nicht. Daher nur 4 Sterne... Werde in einiger Zeit mal einen Nachtrag schreiben über die Alltagstauglichkeit.

Nachtrag 22.9.2017:
Spule funzt immer noch sehr gut. NFC funzt, allerdings mit einiger Fummelei. Lade das G4 meist auf dem JBL. Seit einiger Zeit hebt sich der Deckel des G4 in der Mitte leicht an, sodass -wie in anderen Rezensionen beschrieben- der Deckel in der Mitte einen halben Millimeter höher steht.
Also kann ich nach 1,5 Jahren die Spule immer noch empfehlen.

Tu te demandes si ce produit fonctionne bien ?

La réponse est oui, tout est très bien expliqué la vidéo (en anglais) et le descriptif permettent de s'en sortir facilement.

L'ancienne carte collée à la coque est bien plus difficile à enlever qu'il n'y parait. j'ai essayé sur deux coques (coque cuir et la doré) et il m'a fallut gratté au couteau avec la 1ere puis avec plus de patience sur la 2em j'ai finis avec mes ongles.
Pour le reste c'est vraiment bien pensé, car pour le montage car on positionne la puce, on la teste pour bien placer les connexions puis une fois calé, on la scotche à la coque (on enlève la protection, on remet la coque et c'est collé).
Malgré ce que j'ai pu lire il n'y a aucun problème de fermeture de la coque après l'installation (testé avec deux coques).
La charge est plus longue qu'un système de chargement rapide par câble mais ça charge très bien c'est donc pratique sur la table de nuit avant d'aller se coucher de ne plus mettre de câble.

Mais j'enlève une étoile :
OK je n'ai plus de câble à brancher (mon but ultime) mais maintenant je dois enlever la coque... Hé oui l'électricité ne passe pas si le tel est dans sa coque...

Toujours bon à savoir : le produit fonctionne avec les lampes IKEA (type RIGGAD, VARV,...)

La pause a été délicate car lors de l'essai avant collage définif au capot arrière du mobile, ok la charge induction fonctionne, mais une fois le collage du patch au capot fait ça marchait plus. L'opération de refermer le téléphone tout en collant le patch a provoqué un décalage d'un demi millimètre à peine. Après décollage (délicat car on peut casser ou ne plus le voir adhérer et repositionnement oouuuufff ça fonctionne. La patch a donc résisté à un décollage repositionnement ce que je ne supposais pas. Donc très bon produit. Je précise que le produit n'est pas la cause de ma mésaventure, mais la pause quoi qu'il arrive demande de la précision et une opération de fermeture du téléphone hyper soigneuse car on a droit qu'à 1 essai en fait (sauf ici ou j'ai fait fois 2). Ceci fait, les opérations de réouverture fermeture du téléphone (changer la sim, la SD card, la batterie) ne pose ensuite plus de problème car le patch ne bougera plus une fois adhérant au capot. Donc tout va bien.
A noter que la fonction NFC est bien reconduite par le patch donc j'ai pas perdu cette fonctionnalité

Eh oui, c'est cher pour un coût de fabrication très faible à mon avis. Mais bon, ça fonctionne. Le plus délicat est de décoller l'ancien patch, il faut être assez soigneux et décoller l'ensemble comme décrit sur la vidéo, c'est-à-dire en soulevant très délicatement et en tirant très progressivement, sinon on déchire le tout et après c'est très difficile de terminer. Pour que le système fonctionne il faut que les contacts soient bien alignés, ce qui nécessite un peu de précision, mais ce n'est pas trop compliqué.De plus le patch est lui-même suffisamment épais pour gêner la fermeture de la coque, mais ça ferme quand même, pas d'inquiétude.
N'oubliez pas bien sûr de vous procurer le chargeur à induction ad hoc (il semble que tous les modèles fonctionnent correctement).
A propos du chargeur, dans mon cas la charge est beaucoup plus longue qu'avec le système filaire, et l'ensemble chauffe un peu. Il faut aussi placer le téléphone bien au milieu du chargeur sinon le contact ne se fait pas, il vaut mieux jeter un petit coup d'oeil quand on le pose pour vérifier que la charge démarre.
Justement, la distance de fonctionnement de l'induction est très courte, et du coup le système ne fonctionne pas si on utilise un étui un peu épais. Si on peut retirer celui-ci facilement, pas de problème, mais le mien maintient le téléphone solidement et il est un peu dur de les séparer.
Mais pourquoi LG n'installe-t-il pas le système directement dans le téléphone ???

Ich habe den Fonesalesman Ladeempfänger für mein LG G4 gekauft, um einfach Komfort in den Betrieb meines Smartphones zu bringen und um die USB-Buchse im G4 nicht unnötig mechanisch zu belasten.
Bei und nach der Installation des Ladeempfängers sind mir die folgenden Eigenschaften aufgefallen:
1. Mit den beigelegten Utensilien, dem YouTube-Video und etwas Sorgfalt gelingt der Einbau problemlos.
2. Der Patch trägt sozusagen "dick auf". Der rückseitige Deckel wird nach außen gedrückt, so daß die Erhöhung auf der Rückseite um die Bedienungstasten herum spürbar ist. Bei mechanischer Belastung des G4, z.Bsp. in der Innentasche meiner Skijacke beim Skifahren, ist der Deckel bei mir auf einer Seite neben den Bedienungstasten und der Kamera 2 mal aufgesprungen. Man kann sich vorstellen, daß bei wiederholtem Zudrücken den Deckels die kleinen Nasen abnutzen und der Deckel dann immer leichter aufspringt.
3. Im Ladebetrieb mit dem Anker Qi-Lader treten keine Probleme auf. Die Wärmeentwicklung liegt am Lader. Die Ladedauer ist unwesentlich länger als mit Ladekabel.
Fazit: Funktioniert als Ladeempfänger super. Mechanisch zu dick. NFC brauche ich nicht. Deshalb gilt mein Urteil nur für die Ladefunktion.
