My daughter and I both used this backpack on our recent hiking trip to Zion National Park. It was the perfect size and held up well, even thru The Narrows. Shoulder straps did not cut into shoulders. We were able to strap our water shoes in the lacing. The back padding caused us to sweat a little but, to be fair, it was nearly 110 while we’re were hiking. Also, we originally tried a pack without the shoulder and back padding and it was terribly uncomfortable. Would definitely recommend.
