Full Adult Size Backpack That folds Into a Small Carry Case

The G4Free Backpack was designed to offer the perfect balance between durability, size, lightweight, compact, and travel/storage friendly. When not in use simply fold the Backpack into its self containing pouch to transform it into a super compact handheld carry bag.

The G4Free Backpack uses a top loading pouch with a drawstring lock. This enables you to fit more into your backpack, using the drawstring to give you more or less slack when needed. You are no longer confined to the restraints of a zipper lock.

Big Storage

Inside the main compartment you will find a fabric divider. The main compartment is further secured with a top double sided pouch that offers additional storage and that connects securely around the top of your pack with an adjustable strap to further loosen or tighten slack as needed. The bottom of the of the backpack is double lined for additional durability.

The top double sided pouch can be used to store smaller items for better organization and access. Use the exterior top pouch to access items quickly such as your cell phone, sun block, digital camera, and etc. Use the interior pouch to secure more important items such as money and keys.

On the exterior front of backpack there is a open spandex pouch that allows for quick access to bigger items. On each side of the back there is a sports bottle pocket with its own strap to secure your water bottle.

The strap is padded for added comfort and with a chest clips to help tighten the backpack against your body to make carrying the backpack more secure and comfortable.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazingly great deal!
By Marin P on April 12, 2016
I rarely write reviews, but I definitely had to for this backpack. I absolutely love it! I travel all over the world and for many years I had a Patagonia backpack that I just loved but I wore it out. I needed a new one for a 2 month trip to South America, but didn't have the funds for an expensive one. When I saw the price of this backpack on amazon I thought it was too good to be true. I figured that it was such a good deal, that even if I got it and didn't use it that much it wouldn't be a big deal. Well when it arrived I was extremely impressed. It was great material, perfect size and color. I decided to take it with me on my trip and I'm so glad I did! It came with me on many adventures. I used it as a day pack which was great, but on days I needed to take a lot of stuff it definitely held up to some pretty intense weight as I'm not a light packer lol. I am including some photos from my trip that show all the awesome places it went with me. I HIGHLY recommend this product if you want the same durability and style as companies like North Face and Patagonia, but don't want the high prices. I am moving to Alaska in a week and can't wait to bring it with me on new adventures!

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect, Perfect, Couldn't have been better for our vacation
By Kitchenstud on July 16, 2019
Our family of 3 went to UK for the first time ever for 12 days. We had the ability to do laundry at our AirBnB's so we only packed enough clothing for 5 days, including sweaters and swim suits. We spent a WHOLE AFTERNOON before the trip researching weight restrictions and carry on dimensions for baggage on international flights - we didn't want to check bags, as we had several bus and train trips scheduled, and we wanted to keep our stuff with us and easy to carry. We bought bright colors to see easily, and packed them as full as they would go.
THEY WERE PERFECT.
They were comfortable, and the heaviest pack (my husband's) came in under the 10Kilo weight easily, thanks to the lightweight construction. We never really got them wet, so I can't speak to that, but the elastic on the outside made it easy to attach an extra sweater, the zipper pocket on the top was PERFECT for our Ziploc bag of travel size liquid bottles (easy to take out for security), and the shoulder straps fit just right. We ended up having to RUN through a couple airports and train stations with these packs, and were so VERY glad we had them.
Nothing broke. Nothing tore. Not too big, not too small. They are pretty, too, and our trip would have actually been much worse without them. Five Stars - would give 6 if I could. Great value, as they were less than $20 each.

1.0 out of 5 stars One Star for size lie, 20L instead of 40L
By Alex on July 25, 2018
tl;dr: this backpack is 20L to maximum 25L.
Just look at the picture of the backpack next to 6 of 1-gallon (4L) jugs. The backpack is supposed to contain 10 of these jugs. No way, no how. But let's get mathematical on this b.

Stated in the description measurements are: 22.8” x 13.4” x 7.9”
Let's assume height is correct and concentrate on length and width. Half of the perimeter as stated should be: 13.4 + 7.9 = 21.3”
Instead, top measures 16” and bottom measures 17”. Fine, let's use larger bottom measure. So perimeter/2 is: 17” or 80% of 21.3”
To calculate actual length and width as 80% of stated: 13.4 x 0.8 = 10.7; 7.9 x 0.8 = 6.3
And so actual volume is: 22.8 x 10.7 x 6.3 = 1537 cubic inches or 25.2 Liters (6.7 gallons). And that's assuming the height was really 22.8” which I really doubt and ignoring it measures smaller at the top. But wait, there are 2 expandable mesh pockets on the sides! To me they look to be able to hold 1L each max. Nah, let's go crazy and stick 2L soda bottles in each pocket. They won't fit, will stick out and fall out, but hey, I'm just crazy like that. So, 25+2+2=29L. I spit on that number and add 1L more because reasons! So now it's 30L. NO.WAY.THIS.BACKPACK.IS.40L.
My guess is that if this backpack measured the way the description shows, then it would be 40L. But it doesn't and isn't...

edit: Adding picture from G4Free representative showing how they measure height of the backpack. See how they had to over-stuff it so it would match description size? How the backpack profusely bulges on the bottom left and less on the bottom right? Ridiculous! As I suspected, the stated height is incorrect too, it is about 18" instead of 22.8"; so the backpack is actually about 20L (18"x10.7"x6.3") :tide

edit2: Was asked via email to delete my review for a reward of $23 amazon gift card. I proposed they send me instead improved and true 40L backpack for a re-review. They weren't interested and insisted on me just deleting this review for $23 reward. Such wholesome and honest seller, a beacon of moral integrity and ethical way of conducting business! :2tide

5.0 out of 5 stars Good solid backpack. Takes a beating.
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on June 13, 2019
I took one of these backpacking around Europe for a week and it was perfect.
I was taking about 5-6 Ryanair flights, with their 40x25x20 carry on limit and I had the backpack maybe 3/4 full.
I had:
7 socks
7 boxers
7 t shirts
2 long trousers
2 shorts
1 pair shoes
1 light jacket
medium towel
light hoodie
shirt
ereader
toiletries
and a few other small odds and ends like a charger, etc.
~800g tobacco including 2 5x50g boxes.
At no point did I ever fill the bag although with the boxes of tobacco it was getting close, but I could still have fitted a few more items in.

The bag took a nice little beating.
Getting hauled around frequently by one shoulder strap, dragged along the concrete, through the rain, shoved under seats, kicked, prodded, and sat on, etc, all without any problems.

It's pretty comfortable too, unless you pack it with something pointy sticking into your back, but even then it just seems to shift everything around. It's really light and durable, and works just as well for a full on trip as well as a little day pack for a sandwich and bottle of water. It just seems to transform into whatever shape you need it to.

I never had any problems with the Ryanair "under the seat" size with it, but I knew that even if I did, I could just take out the jacket and put it on and the bag would resize accordingly.
On rare occasions the zips do get stuck on the covering fabric, as with most backpacks, but it isn't a problem as you can just unzip it (it always frees up easily and immediately) and you just go again .

Overall I'm very happy with this backpack.
