I bought 2 of these to use while our kitchen is being remodeled and we are without a stove. They both work great! The first time I tried them, I boiled potatoes in one while making green beans in the other. I've also made grilled cheese sandwiches, scrambled eggs, breakfast sausage, and chicken stir fry. Controlling the temperature takes some getting used to. These things get HOT and can burn fast if set to high. While temporarily being without a kitchen is inconvenient, these small electric burners work wonders and have saved the day!
