I have purchased this headset several times over the years (only reason I had to replace it this many times is because I carelessly closed the car door on the wire and twice smashed it under shopping bags :P) It is very comfortable to wear and because it wraps around the back of your head it doesn't mess up your hair - definitely a plus - Everyone I speak to says they can hear me very clearly to the point they don't like it when I disconnect - Love that I don't have to charge it (which means I will not forget it in the house because it stays in the car where I use it) or that it's so small I lose it (which I did with my bluetooth {who knows where it went} ... and my backup bluetooth which I months later found in a shoe lol) Only tricky part when you first use it is the wire - 1. Always lay wire on top of the seat belt when using in the car so it doesn't get caught and yank your head or hair 2. I often throw mine on the passenger seat or middle console when not in use and sometimes forget and throw heavy stuff on top then try to yank it out from under the stuff, and while durable, some parts are fragile when pulled impatiently so broke a couple that way - take care and carefully remove anything from on top and 3. This model has a volume thingy on the cord - for an entire week I could barely hear anyone no matter how high I turned up my phone before I realized I accidently nudged the volume dial on the headset wire itself :) Now Enjoy!

Great product

I use this headset for conference calls when I'm traveling and it works great and travels well. I store it in a little make-up bag and it's always clean and ready to plug in. Sometimes I even use it at home when I need a break from my big headset.

Not entirely what I expected, but it works

While I like the headset, I have to say it seems too small for me. I keep hearing the sound of the hinges stretching around my head, and the ear pieces were pushing onto my ears, so I'm not sure if it's too small or if I just have a big head. I mean, I'll accept the latter, but it's still an okay headset for its form factor and simplicity.

I also expected the headset to be detachable like another product, and I got confused as to which headset was which, so I got less with this product than I expected.

If you're looking for a simple headset and you don't have too big of a head or ears, then this should work just fine.

Meh Headset

So i had to purchase these for a job. When they came and I looked at how versatile they are, I love them or at least the concept. I game pretty heavily and while I can chat with friends on these and people say on the computer they can hear me fine, over the phone is another battle. After a couple months of use the sound quality is a little sucky. I constantly have to press the side of earphone to my ear to hear more clearly what someone is saying. The mic is either to far away to hear me, or so close it sounds like I"m eating it.. no happy medium. I like that I can plug it into my phone, and switch between my phone and computer, however because of the having to disconnect and reconnect it on the connectors I can see that any quality is going to degrade over time.

Mine haven't broken yet surprisingly... I've gotten tangled in the wires and yanked these things around. My cats have terrorized them and I've pulled on them quite a bit. Still they sit on my desktop... Definitely not a Gaming Headset... If you are using for something simple such a skype, and don't like anything on top of your head then its not sooo bad. The only thing I didn't like about behind the head is I have long hair, so I have to put my hair up in a ponytail constantly.

Not very durable!

I used this for less than 2 months, and the microphone stopped working. Other wise it is a very good design. Be ware! GE does not stand behind this product. I tried to get honor the one year warranty on the product, and they bluntly refused. Below find their email response to me:

Unfortunately MidAtlantic Merchant is not an authorized retailor so a replacement would need to be handled by them. I see on the ticket that they will not take it back because it is used so you will need to contact them about how to handle this issue. The reason that we can't exchange it is because the warranty starts from the day that the headset was originally purchased and we don't have that receipt. For us to replace the headset that you bought you would need to get a copy of the receipt from when the headset was originally purchased and if it's still within the warranty time frame then we would be able to replace it.
