No more useless cable

These work well in my home. There is nothing to install, just screw then into the back of the tv and insert the stand for it to stand up. I get pretty decent reception. I called the seller to ask about using one for multiple TVs. He said I could but the signal would be split. He was very helpful and asked what zip code I lived in. He used the zip code to tell me which direction to point the antenna in, and they have worked amazing well with that information.

I'm around 15 or 20 miles from the TV towers with rolling hills in between (Birmingham, Al). I was able to pull in 24 stations with the antenna beside the TV and 40 with it sitting in the window nearby. However, half the stations break up and aren't watchable. I purchased it mainly to be able to see the weather broadcasts if the power goes out. It works for that. I have a backup power supply for a small TV and needed a non amplified antenna.

Not knowing how much to trust the reviews on some other antennas, I opted for this model. I figured that if it disappointed me, at least I wouldn't have wasted much money on it.

I can say that it was indeed a step up from my prior antenna, which was primarily designed for FM, but worked alright for TV. It's not quite perfect, but still a good value for money and its size. I plan to experiment more with the rabbit ears and a couple different major orientations, but it's possible I might still upgrade to another model.

I purchased this for a family member who lived in the middle of the country side of MN. They got a whole two channels; the HSN and Ion Plus. So while that wasn't great, we were happy with the ION Plus part of some decent shows. They then moved to the city in Florida and have a bunch of channels, most music channels and a few channels that go in and out (even with aluminum foil on the rabbit ears) and no ION Plus. So we were highly disappointed. I think I will have to gift them a longer distance one that hopefully won't fall short. Location is apparently the key, but don't let the city connection fool you.

I live in Eastern PA and we have a ton of mountains. No problem for this sucker!!! Excellent product! I purchased 3 more for the other TVs in my house and another two for Christmas presents last year. Everyone said the same!

This was easy to install and really good picture quality and reception. The adjustable directional antennae ensure I get a lot of channels very clearly. I live between Toronto and Buffalo and pick up 21 channels.

The style is very sleek. I wish the cord was longer as I need to place it high up for maximum range. I solved that with an extender. I also wish it came in white to blend in with my decor better but hid the cables with a white cable concealer.

At ground level it produces intermittent signal that doesn't ensure a quality picture, especially with digital channels.
I gave it 3 stars because I believe it can be used for apartment buildings, close to windows. One more thing: it looks very slick, yet, the cable is very short, especially when you need to move around to get the signal.
