Who would have thought that buying a toaster would be such a big decision? Certainly not me - until it became one. I’m a little on the cheap side so when our old toaster bit the dust I bought a cheap one to replace it. It was awful and after about a month we replaced that one too. We ended up with this toaster and we love it. It toasts evenly. The design is good, there are enough spaces that don’t get hot during the toasting process so you don’t burn your fingers. We keep it in the cupboard so it doesn’t really matter what it looks like but even if we left it out, this one would be fine on the counter. Love it - great purchase!

Can’t go wrong with a GE appliance. This is built well and works great. Toasts evenly, the frozen button works well too for throwing in frozen waffles. Fits different thicknesses of bread. I use this everyday and it has been the best toaster I’ve ever had. More trustworthy brand than some of the random brands. And for an appliance that generates heat like this, you’ll want that for peace of mind. Love this GE toaster.
