Product Description

No Poles means No Problems, Trekking Pole Tent, backpacking tent, camping tent, hiking tent, light weight tent, compact tent, ultralight tent. Most tents come with cheap fragile poles which are the first things to break, and make the tent worthless. Because this tent will work with any adjustable trekking poles or even a sticks or tied to an overhanging tree branch, With no poles to string through the tent, it is super fast and simple to set up. Just stake down the corners, put in the trekking poles, and it can be set up in as little as 1 minute.. NO trekking poles are included with this tent.

3.0 out of 5 stars For Sleeping only
By Joe S on April 3, 2019
So I like and don't like this product... is it exactly what I expected, pretty much. you will get in and sleep. end of story. I am an Average build guy and it is fine. not room for anything except me. but it is super lightweight the design is great to shed water and wind and sets up is super easy. I follow the height on the trekking poles and at night if I moved or rolled over I would end up bumping them and the tent height would dip and everything would sag. I would recommend setting the height of the poles a little higher than recommended and setting them out a little wider. Also if you don't like stuff touching you stay away from this tent or be smaller than 5', the bug net siding will drape down onto your face, it is just going to happen. But if you want a super simple lightweight tent this will work out well. I got this mostly for my wife to use and it should work well for her. if I ever were to get a tent for me I would go for something a little larger and probably an A-Frame style with the trekking poles. Just my 2 cents.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good for the price
By JonnyG on August 9, 2021
Im 5'11" and this was just a little too short for me. Just had this in Isle Royale and had to scrunch sleep to avoid getting bit by mosquitos through the net. Very easy and simple to set up. The ropes and stakes are super nice construction, along with the ropes having reflective pieces in it to easier see. Definitely want to crank your trekking poles all the way up to make the most out of it. Packs down super small and light weight. Would like if it did come with a footprint as the bottom does feel a little thin.

4.0 out of 5 stars Did the job
By Paul on August 23, 2017
Used for a Colorado trail hike. Very light in weight. Setup was easy, took mere minutes. Take down even quicker. Held up well in the winds. Kept me dry in the rains at night. Dries quickly. Enough room for 1 person only which is what I wanted. Make sure you have nice trek poles to go with it. One of mine busted and caused me some extra work. Not the tent' s fault, it was the trek pole. But you need trek poles so be sure they are good.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great quality Geertop 1 Man 20d silnylon Pyramid tent
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on August 24, 2018
I purchased this tent for a number of reasons, largely because it had two entrances/vestibules and also because of the light weight. I also wanted a trekking pole tent because when hiking, I always use poles and this avoids the need to carry the extra weight of tent poles. Having done some research on the internet, I didn't want to pay some of the frankly inflated prices of the more established manufacturers so the Geertop tent seemed to be a great compromise. Having just returned from a 400 mile hike in the West Country in the UK where I used the tent fairly extensively, I am pleased to say that my choice has proved to be a success. light to carry, quick and easy to pitch, I really couldn't find anything to fault it and it stood up well to some fairly persistent rain, although I never experienced any 'wild'weather on my trip. Once pitched, the 'A' frame formed by the trekking poles is extremely sturdy and would, I believe, stand up well to any windy conditions. The two door/vestibule set-up was a revelation and it was great to have somewhere to store wet gear separate from dry gear. This also meant that I didn't have to climb over wet gear when getting in and out of the tent. I have two criticisms, although neither are major problems. Firstly, the zipper pulls are tiny and difficult to get hold of. I easily remedied this by the addition of some zipper ties, which solved the problem immediately. The other issue was with the two large ventilation panels at either end. To close these, it is recommended to pass the ventilation panel guy line between both anchor points located above and below the panel. I discovered that it is necessary to ensure that you do this carefully as during one wet night, the tent material just below the panel opening sagged slightly and created a 'funnel'that directed rain into the inside of the inner tent. A quick adjustment soon sorted the problem but it is something to be aware of. As with all silnylon tents, in certain conditions, condensation can form overnight but I didn't find this tent any worse or better for this than any other tent I have used. The tent probably would not suit a tall person, unless they were using it without the inner tent. I am around 5'10" and had plenty of room but a tall person may find in restricting. Sitting up and getting dressed etc. was quite easy for me however. Overall, I couldn't fault this tent and I am very happy with my choice.

5.0 out of 5 stars Auch mit einem Trekkingstock stabil
Reviewed in Germany on August 27, 2017
