Only Oatmeal I've been able to eat without reactions to and safe for me. Recently found out my little one who just turned one is allergic to Wheat and Peanut so I was using this safely for the both of us. About 1yr ago I was able to purchase this on my EBT card in bulk with 6 in each package and it was affordable. Now they don't accept EBT and rare have it in stocks and if they do it's 2 small packages that I think are overpriced to those who are struggling or have multiple food allergies so unfortunately I have had to look into other brands and also ones that accept EBT payments.
Loved this Oatmeal though. Thank You.

Great for gluten free vegan baking

These are great gluten free oats!
I use them to make my own gluten free oat flour because I prefer the taste of fresh to store bought oat flour.
This blends up into a flour in about 30 seconds using my blender and it bakes up really nicely in my gluten free vegan desserts!
I often mix this with King Arthur’s gluten free flour for savory dishes like bagels or breads.
I have made a pretty mean Stromboli with that mixture actually.
I included a picture of it so you can see how well this flour binds with KA’s.
It binds really well with KA’s so you don’t need a lot( don’t use too much as it can make your dishes a little heavy. The most you should ever use is half KA’s and half gf oat flour a whole dish made with this flour will be very heavy.), and since I don’t use eggs in my baking ( usually I use ground chia seeds or Vegan egg that you buy at the grocery store)it really helps mimic the glutens you need in regular baking and it helps to complete my recipes if I run low on KA’s!
I get two of these monthly in addition to 4bags of KA’s with my Subscribe and Save.
This sounds like a lot but they are a good deal for me as I make most of the foods we eat from scratch.
Because of a medical issue!
Not because I’m Susie Homemaker or anything.
It’s kind of a PIA if I’m honest, because while I really do enjoy baking, literally having to bake almost every day can be annoying.
But having these gluten free oats makes the job so much easier and a lot more fun!
I’m leaving a review because anyone who bakes gluten free knows it’s pretty dang difficult at times and if you’re vegan as well as oil free like myself, baking can seem like an insurmountable task!
I like to let people know what I’m using and how I’m using it juuust in case they’ve got similar issues and are having difficulty baking light fluffy gluten free vegan treats.

I started buying these oats when I was pet/housesitting. I fell in love with them right away. I have been buying them ever since. There were 2 occasions where I bought them and they had black specks in them when I cooked them. Amazon sent me a replacement. I did tried calling and emailing the company and never heard back from them. So I stopped buying them. Then I recently was pet/housesitting again and that bag was a good batch. When I got back to my place I bought another bag and it's good.

Now I'll admit that as long as they are organic, one brand of rolled oats is pretty much the same as any other. This one is the same. It makes great oatmeal in the morning when it's cold outside, and I suppose it makes good oatmeal cookies although I haven't tested that theory yet.

The bag keeps the oats fresh, and while I go through a bag fairly quickly in the winter, in the summer they may have to last up to four or five months just sitting in the bag.

It doesn't seem to be a problem. I didn't find live boll weevils either, which happened with another brand (that was a mess).

I love these rolled oats. Great price, great product. I'm on my 2nd bag, and I will definitely be getting this particular brand from here on out.

I got these rolled oats to make overnight oatmeal:

1/2 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup milk (or water)
1 tsp local honey

Then I add whichever organic frozen fruit I want (blueberries are my favorite for oatmeal). Sometimes I add organic chia seeds as well for some extra protein and fiber (need to add a bit more milk or water since the seeds absorb liquids just like the oats do). I usually eat this while drinking a protein shake, but this week I plan on adding some vanilla protein powder to the oatmeal itself.

Once I have that all mixed together, I just throw it in the fridge overnight. The oats soak up the milk (or water) so they get that typical creamy consistency you expect from oatmeal. I thought it would be weird and gross cold, but it's actually awesome and I don't mind it at all. I always had oatmeal (Quakers) hot, but this homemade cold version is so much more tasty and MUCH more nutritious. Very easy to make since you just throw it together and put it in the fridge, take it out in the morning and enjoy!

Great way to start the day off with a protein and fiber packed meal!

I have ordered this product many times and, as a celiac family, appreciate the dedication to a purity protocol for oats. However, this last order of two bags is definitely a different quality. Every mouthful I’m pulling out kernels or husks of the oat that are hard and unappetizing. I won’t be able to use this product in any baking unless I hand sort each cup. I’ll have to start looking for a different brand as these are no longer worth the extra cost.
