I bought this jacket because I needed one in a hurry and the price was quite cheap. I honestly didn't know what to expect when it showed up. First off, it's not a bad jacket. It's a basic, kind of heavy riding jacket, with decent rugged zippers and does keep the wind off. Is it worth the 30 to 40 dollars based on those merits alone...yes. The negative part is all the patches that are sewn on. From the picture, I just noticed two small ones in the front. When I received the jacket, there were many more on the back, to include a huge, winged one that read "born to ride". It was the cheesiest thing I had seen in a long time. I said to myself that if I could not get the patches off somehow, I would throw the whole thing in the garbage. It's that bad. However, with a pocket knife and 10 minutes of effort, the patches came off easily enough and all is well. I've been meaning to replace this jacket(it was supposed to be temporary) but think that I might just keep wearing it.

For the 30 something dollars this jacket costs, it must have cost as much to make. The large jacket would probably fit anyone from 5'10" - 6'2" pretty well. I'm 5'11", and 180 lbs. The jacket fits me very well, but there are side adjustments to tighten if necessary, and there's still a lot of room left for someone much larger. If I had to guess though I'd say 6'2" - 220 lbs could still probably use the large.?.?. The zippers are strong, (though at times require a prefect line to zip them). As mentioned by many previous reviewers, the lame patches are easily removed by cutting the stitching with no "obvious" signs of their existence. I had the whole job completed in less than 30 minutes, (which was worth the money saved). It's not the perfect riding jacket as it's missing ventilation zippers, the stitching has loosened in a couple of places, (though minor). It is however, heavy duty, decent liner, and looks great, (without the patches of course). It would have been a deal at $99- for sure.

In short if you're actually considering buying a jacket at this price, you'll be very happy with it. If you're not happy with it your price for value ratio is way off.

This jacket is a heavy weight leather apparel and I like the higher snap neck that helps keep out the cold wind. I can wear sweaters underneath it and still be able to move freely. I wear a large jacket in any other size of jacket. I would like the zipper to be a little more substantial feeling though but so far it hasn't failed yet.

Did not have the embroidery shown in the picture, also has some cuts and defects in the leather. Would buy a different Jacket for my gift but don't have time for it. I'm very disappointed with the quality of the product.

This is a nice coat once you get the patches off. There are a bunch of fairly rediculous patches on the back (to make you a "real motorcycle tough guy" I'm sure...) but about 5 min with a seam ripper gets rid of them. The coats size somewhat large, so, if you usually wear a large, go for a medium (I can get fat and still comfortably wear this coat...). I also replaced the cheap leather "lace" on the sides, but that's a personal preference. Two font pockets and a loose interior pocket meant I had to add a button and a loop to keep my wallet from falling out.

After a year wearing this coat: The front zipper started malfunctioning, zipping halfway then the teeth didn't mesh unless I very carefully rezipped. After one fall off a bicycle, some of the teeth on the left sleeve were lost, so that doesn't zip all the way up. Numerous areas of the leather look like plastic wrap over cheap material. Overly stylized stitching makes this look pretty fake.

First the image here is not representative of what you're buying. in fact the leather is just made of small fragments sewed in together and the quality is rather poor and the sown starts to fall apart just after a few times of wearing it. Furthermore some of my leather pieces are of poorer quality and the paint starts to peel off.
And of course the back has some huge decal that is not shown in the picture and it should be.

All previous reviews are accurate. Jacket arrives as advertised. Logos and emblems on front and back are more ridiculous than can be explained. The emblems are probably more expensive than the jacket. Mind boggling why they wouldn't just skip the extra cost to stitch in the lame emblems/patches and upgrade the lining/zippers. Jacket is not something that you would buy if you needed healthy protection or security from elements but great as a "disposable" shell (so buy over-sized) . I will use this as a commuter jacket to absorb the bugs, fuel, exhaust and debri over my expensive riding jacket after I remove all the Super Weenie Emblems that are stitched to the exterior. Update: removing the emblems/patches required carefully cutting all the stitching where the patch is sewn to the jacket. Not to difficult with a precision exacto blade. However, one slip and you'll cut into the thin "Buffalo" leather which is paper thin and almost scrapes off. For example, large patch on the back is sewn along the edges and has a piece of double sided tape across the middle. The tape is super thin and almost impossible to peel off. If you do manage to get a hold of a corner of the tape, it will try to peel off chunks of the thin leather, almost like paint pulling off a substrate. This jacket is cheaply made and should only be used as a shell.
