While the original list price for this video card is $95, there are rebates and sales ongoing which can drive the price down to nearly $50 - that's how I got mine yesterday. The video card itself is attractively designed; the 100mm fan provides some serious cooling (without having to connect an additional power line) and the blue PCB matches the color of my motherboard (also by Gigabyte) very nicely. The big fan, however, can cover up the PCIx1 slot on some motherboards (including my Gigabyte 78LMT-S2P), which is potentially awkward if you were wanting to use that expansion slot. Installation of both hardware and drivers was easy, and I obtained the latest ATI Catalyst drivers almost immediately upon installation (the driver CD includes, I believe, version 11.5; the latest Catalyst suite at the time of writing is 12.0/12.1). The card includes a VGA (D-Sub) connector for legacy monitors, though if you have a monitor with DVI capability, such as my HP S2031, you will certainly want to use the DVI connector on the card.

Graphics quality in conjunction with my S2031 monitor is excellent so far. I bought this card especially to play the upcoming Guild Wars 2, and while that game (which is in closed beta at time of writing) isn't out yet, my Windows Experience Index has been boosted from an original, and somewhat lackluster, score of 4.9 with the integrated video that I was originally using to 6.8. The card carries a printed requirement of a 400W minimum power supply, which is less demanding than high-end graphics cards.

This video card is faster than most, DirectX 11 ready and requires no auxiliary power. It runs strictly off the PCI-E video slot. Under heavy load, it doesn't exceed room temperature and the fan is whisper quiet. Plus, it's dirt cheap. No brainer. Buy it.

After inserting the card the Windows Exp Index rose from 4.2 to 6.8, an incredible 62%.
I dont do any gaming but use graphic software like Photoshop, Illustrator and Daz3d.

I did notice the time lag of loading a 3d model significantly decrease. If you can get this card
with the rebate its a great deal.

The benchmark of this card is 1029, while my previous GEFORCE GT 9500 was 289.

Easy install but its a large card taking up 2 slots. Also remember to remove the plastic covers.
I couldnt get the card in the slot and thought I had the wrong size.

Added this video card to my FX 4170, 4.2 CPU based PC, brought my graphics performance from 6.7 to 7.2. Need I say more :> . I'd recommend this card to those who do some gaming, but, overall, for those who want GOOD Quality card that does it all .. Also, with mfg rebate, you can't be its price

Changing from onboard video on my Intel i7-2600 to this card raised my WEI in Windows 7 for "Graphics" from 5.5 to 6.8, and my "Gaming Graphics" from 5.9 to 6.8. Its fan is not audible above the system fan at 50% speed or lower, but you would definitely hear it at 100%

This video card is currently available with a rebate. For this level card with rebate it is a tremendous buy. My Windows 7 video rating went from a 4.9 to a 6.8 using this card. This is high enough to run all of Windows 7 functions. (My previous card actually did too, not always the best however). Card came with software to overclock it. I have not tried this feature yet. I have been using for HD video editing and performance has been good.

Installation was effortless. It does occupy two slots so you will lose whatever slot is immediately next to card. I found elsewhere that it can require up to 400 watts so you will need a good power supply. I watch the watt meter on my UPS and it never showed this kind of demand but I have not tried high end gaming.

I am not a big gamer so I have not pushed it using any of the few games that I own.

This card will work great for everday and video editing. I do not have a second monitor so I have not tried the dual display either. The software that comes with it will help you set up a dual display.

Replaced a stock card sold in a Dell XPS-8300(HD6450 card). Moved the Windows Experience rating from a 5.5 (which was the video card's number) to a 6.4 (also the new video card's number). Made paging through thousands of photos much faster. Got a good deal on the card.

I still am shocked that you can get these decent quality video cards at such a low cost. They (Gigabyte) have already processed my rebate and although I would have preferred cash back, it will still not be money wasted as it will come on a charge card. It runs my new Far Cry 3 game just fine. One thing they could have been clearer on, is notifying the buyer that you will need to have at least 400 watts of power supply. My HP, although brand new, had only 250, so I bought a Cooler Master 600 watt power supply through Amazon and it works great. The card seems sturdy, well made and even came with plastic protectors on the input edge and came in an electrostatic bag. I can recommend this product, no problem.
