Upgrade the AMD 7570 1GB video card on my Dell XPS 8500 to this GTX 660 ti and WOW, what a difference. Installaition was a breeze, loaded new drivers and was up and runing in less than 5 minutes. Running flawlessly on the stock 460W power supply. This bad boy powers through any game I can throw at it on max out ultra settings. Runs nearly as fast as a GTX 670 at $100 less.

The recent trend to equip video cards with blow-by fans instead of caged fans which ventilate out of the case come from the availability of High Airflow cases, in which air does not stay in the case longer than a second or two. If you have a case with fewer than four 8-inch fans, get one of the cards with a cage fan which blows directly out of the case.

In my HAF case, this card works beautifully and never gets hot. Already overclocked a bit, it runs perfectly stable.

Installed the GTX 660ti into my Dell 8300 without event. Go to the NVIDIA website for the most up to date driver. Go to Studio 1 Productions to activate Adobe's Mercury Engine for Premiere CS 5.5 or CS 6.0 or After Effects. The site has a downloadable sniffer that finds the new GPU and makes it available to Premiere, etc. Nonlinear video production is my primary use for the card, but I'm sure it screams as a gaming card as well. It is as quiet as the wimpy card that came with the Dell. Highest recco just after installation and initial testing, I will update if there are any future problems.

I bought this card for a new Hackintosh system that I was building. My previous system had an AMD 6870, which had worked great in both the Windows and Mac environments. The 660 Ti has been a great upgrade for my rig. It works natively in the OSX side of my machine with very minimal tweaking needed to enable OpenCL, and on the Windows side has greatly improved my gaming. Titles like Sleeping Dogs and Guild Wars 2 look and play great at very high settings.

I installed this in about 10 minutes in my Dell XPS 8300. The card was MUCH larger than my old card, so I did have to do a little creative cable placement in order to get it in. It would have been a hard job if I didn't have small hands, but that's more telling of the size of my computer case then this card. If you have huge hands, you may want to find a nice lady friend with delicate hands to install this card in a small case.

Driver installation was easy peasy, though it did seem to update about 3 to 4 times over the course of the next few days. I downloaded the drivers straight from Gigabyte's site (which could use an update, for sure. A little archaic and a little sketchy looking).

I'm pleased with the performance of the card. All the games I've run thus far (Guild Wars 2, Civiliations 5, Heroes of Might and Magic 6) have run on max or very high settings without any issues at all. Seems to run fairly cool, certainly cooler than my old ATI card.

Also very pleased with how easy the rebate seems. I entered all my info online and printed out the rebate voucher, printed my Amazon invoice and snipped the serial information off the box and viola! I'm mailing it off in a few days so we shall see how speedy they are about getting it back to me. :)

Overall I'd recommend this card for those with a smaller case and lower watt power supply. Seems to be pretty solid and a very affordable price.

This was a step up from a not bad at all 6800ati card and the difference is immense. The card is significantly faster (over 2X faster on fps tests), runs cooler and makes less noise when pushed than my older card. I haven't overclocked the card but there is the ability to do so and the actual product looks well built and very solid. It doesn't really come with anything thrills wise but I did get a cash (american express card) mail in rebate with it.

The card runs at between 28C and 40C in a room at 22C So it never gets too hot.

I already downloaded the latest software form nvidia before I installed the card which made the process easier but it worked without issue when I plugged it in. The cables that come with the card are for a primitive connection to an old 12V analogue plug but I am guessing that anyone who buys this has at least two pci leads coming from their power supply.

The fans are quite larger and easy to access so cleaning will not be an issue. My case is a Haf922 so it is pretty open but the dust levels are not too bad and I haven't yet had to clean the fans.

Very happy indeed.

On first look, I worried about how the fans were mounted to the heatsink. I was used to seeing a complete shroud around everything to give the card a more sturdy appearance and feel. Not a problem. The fans are sturdy and shrouded individually so you don't have to worry about cables or handling messing up the card. It is solid and runs great. I haven't used the included overclock software as it was overclocked to start with and I haven't needed the extra horsepower for games (even running 2 monitors and 2 instances of some games), yet.

Totally recommend it. Great price, great performance.

I absolutely love this card. Its quiet as a mouse (I cannot stand loud cards...), and meets my gaming needs, for MMO type of games. I do not play the 'bleeding edge' newest of new type games -- so have no idea how it performs under such situations. I wish that I'd bought two when I did -- so I would have a replacement for when this one eventually wears out, and the fans are no longer performing up to speed.

Would be nice to see more in stock... I made the mistake of trying to order one from NewEgg, and they sent me a plain GTX 660... which I do not recommend at all.
