My friends was clear so mine was either expired, old, or defective but the funny thing was it wasn't eligible for return!! I definitely wouldn't recommend anyone buying this save your time and money and just go to Kroger's and buy it!!

The older I get the Frizzier my hair becomes. This product is the only one found that relaxes my hair and allows it to lay flat after a shower and a little hair dryer touch up. It remains that way for the rest of the day. There are a lot of products that say that get rid of the Frizz, and I've tried a bunch. This one works and leaves my hair extremely soft.

I love this shampoo - smell is great, very lightly scented. Suds just enough to make your hair feel clean, but doesn't dry out my newly colored hair at all. Very happy with my first online purchase of shampoo (I'm picky about scents, but I ordered based off other reviewers).
UPDATE - after using this a bunch of times, I realized that it's a little too heavy for my hair. I have a chin length bob cut, not particularly thick hair that gets oily prretty quickly (I shampoo every day). After using this without even using conditioner afterwards, it feels a little heavy, with an oily feel. I don't normally have this with shampoo but it is called Ultra-Moist so that's probably why. I will probably just use this in the cold dry wintertime when my hair is particularly dry.

I once read in an article something about how shampoo would become obsolete within the next few years, with everyone going "no poo". Well, the author of that article didn't take people like me into account. I must be the demographic shampoo is truly created for. My hair is fine but I generally have a lot of it, and it's wavy with some ringlets at the nape of my neck. It gets frizzy easily. (I am 2c by Fia: a "wurly girl".) I wash my hair almost every day because of my exercise schedule and the heat/sweat. Anyway, my hair loves Giovanni. After disastrously experimenting with "no poo" I returned to the shampoo that I KNEW would make my hair happy: Giovanni's Tea Tree Triple Treat. I like Giovanni's Golden Wheat shampoo, too. Anyway, I saw this new (to me, at least) Wellness line and wanted to give it a go.

Surprisingly, the shampoo is dark brown, and it has a vaguely medicinal smell mixed in with its herbal notes; which is of course to be expected. (The herbs in the formula are used in Traditional Chinese Medicine.) Like the Tea Tree Triple Treat shampoo, my scalp finds this shampoo very refreshing. I expect it will live up to its claims of strengthening my hair and its roots.

For those who are curious, the EWG Skin Deep database rates this Giovanni shampoo a 3, and the accompanying conditioner a 2. (Tea Tree Triple Treat and Golden Wheat shampoos score 4 and 2, respectively. Much as I like it, I'm actually thinking I may not buy my beloved Tea Tree Triple Treat again because the rating is so high!)

I purchased this product at Marshall's at a great price hoping I would like it. I moved to Medford, OR a few years ago and immediately got static cling in my hair in the cold weather months... I mean really bad static cling. I started carrying a dryer sheet with me to help keep my hair down. I decided to give a moisturizing shampoo a try. My hair is wavy, 30% gray and thick. The shampoo tamed my hair, made it soft, took out the static, without any greasiness or making my hair feel weighed down. I don't know how it would work on different hair types but it definitely works with mine. My husband started using it too and he really enjoys the clean, fresh scent that isn't too strong for a guy or for me as I don't care for strongly scented products. I'm on my second bottle and plan to continue using. I like the large pump bottle. The product arrived in good condition on time.

In my experience, this is one of the better quality shampoos. Unlike other shampoos it has a shorter ingredients list with many beneficial ingredients and fewer harsh chemicals. The tea tree oil can be overpowering when it gets into your eyes, so be aware of this! I find that this shampoo thoroughly cleanses my hair and the bottle lasts a long time (I wash my hair every 2 to 3 weeks), which is good because it is a bit pricey!
