The poles are not cheap so I took the white clips out of the skimmer head and took the head of a 5 dollar broom. Shoved it right on it and it stays in place. Works great for our intex 12x30

A lot of reviews for this product mention how flimsy it is due to how it attaches using a two button press. While it is still flimsy part of the problem is that there are two sets of holes and if you do not press it all the way into the second set it will shake a lot and be very flimsly attached. Skimmers should not be used to get anything but light debris out of a pool, so it does not need a whole lot of strength. For it's price point it is a very effective product and does what it needs to.

the pole is nice until you try to attach pool net to it. It has a push in plastic piece when attached the net feels loose to fit, just flimsy almost returned it but decided to keep it . I would NEVER buy this item again... keep on searching for a better net!

We got this to keep the kids kiddie pool clean from leaves, bugs, etc. We don't use it with a pole attached or anything and it bends/flexes quite a bit. The shapes deformed a bit but still functions fine. I doubt this would hold up well or long for larger pools or being attached to a pole extension. It's great for my kids and their kiddie pool tho!

I have had this for 4 days and it just fell apart with regular use. The skimmer net head fell off as the part it attaches to on the pole broke. It is completely unusable and a huge waste of money. I tried to save myself a trip to Wal-Mart, I should have just gone instead. Now I'm stuck with a broken skimmer that got 4 days of use that I cannot return because I don't have a working printer to print the labels they want you to put inside the package, nor a UPS location in my town. It is a huge waste of money, do yourself a favor and just go to Wal-Mart. The one there lasts as long as squirrels don't get it during the winter.

I guess you get what you pay for, since this was one of the cheaper versions of this product.
The whole thing is light weight and cheap feeling. Upon arrival, one of the telescoping sections of the pole doesn't work so only one of them tightens/locks into the place. The plastic nubs that attach the head to the pole feel very loose and cheap. I expect it to break any day now - but it has worked okay to fish some leaves out of a yard pond.

this looks nice but is very fragile for use in a large Koi pond. It is not long enough even when extended and then becomes very shakey and fragile. It probably is ok for a small pool or goldfish pond etc. My misjudgement when ordering.
