Product Description

Professional Series Noise Free Mic Cables. They have a thick, high quality, flexible rubber jacket. They are heavy duty Noise Free "True Balanced LO-Z" and have 3 pin XLR connectors on each end. These cables have dual insulated copper conductors plus they are shielded. They are hand wired & hand soldered and have high quality metal ends. They have a double strain relief on each end (internal Tri-GripTM and external rubber booty). As you can see in the above picture, the female locking end has a rubber grommet. This allows the cable to snap into place without being loose and sloppy like most other cables you may find.

Sure I could have bought a $6 special. But there is a drawback (at least for me) - length does matter. 25 foot is better than 20 foot. There is no such thing as having too much cable. Too little, yes. It comes with two white velcro strips to coil it up nice. I've experienced no problems with static, crackling, hum or other sound artifacts. As someone who replaces XLR jacks at work, these cables are well made.

In these strange times when companies have lost real connections with their cutomers, any company that sends you a personal e-mail allowing you the knowledge that they appreciate your business and that they have pride in what they do and sell is a company can I stay with. The cable is great. Sound is flat 20,000 to 20,000 and sounds wonderful. Some people remark that a cable is a cable, tell that to a serious music audiophile/producer. JUST A GREAT CABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good quality cable at excellent price. Does the job well. No noise. Using it with Shure SM58 for amateur vocal recording.

I've been using GLS branded cables and microphones for about 8 years. For the price, you cannot find better quality. The connectors are top quality, and the cable is soft and lies very flat on the floor. Not the most rugged cable out there, but because it is soft, can be run across doorways with decent gaf tape to prevent tripping. I use them with powered speakers and have yet to find one that failed on me. So far I have 4 at 50', 2 at 100', 6 at 30', 2 at 20', and 2 at 10' with no failures. I think that says it all.

This was our second XLR cable purchase, and glad we made it. The connectors on our last cable weren't rugged enough for repeated plugging/unplugging for our different camera setups. The end connectors on this cable are way better. Definitely a more durable connection.

I ordered this cable for a small PA Speaker system. The 25ft length makes it a lot easier to move speakers in different formations needed for different venues. The cable itself is of good quality, seems durable, and fits your standard XLR input/output jack. This cable is good for DJ Mixers as well, if that is what you are looking to use it for. I would buy from this seller again.

It's constructed like a professional cable and has an unbelievable price. Doesn't feel like a cheap piece of cable, and it fits nice into my microphone. Definitely recommend this microphone cable for it's professional quality and price!

The male XLR connector on my cable seems like it must be out of spec. It was a tight fit going on, but almost didn't come out of my sound recorder at all, requiring more pulling and strain then I deem safe for my equipment (basically I had to pry it off). Other XLR connectors slide on and off with ease, this should never happen and is probably just down to low-quality connector sourcing.

I would warn anyone else considering this cable for sound recorders to think again - it's no fun almost breaking one of the inputs on a recorder over a $15 cable. Spend more and buy a cable with good quality connectors.
