I got a pack of these to use at church where I run sound and "plosives" have effectively ceased.

Pros:
- They're easy to manipulate, stretch, and fit onto a mic. Easier than my Shure windscreen.
- They're cheap
- A five pack means you'll probably be able to save at least a couple for backup
- They work just fine for the fairly mild sort of singing that you'd expect in a church. You won't notice the difference between one of these windscreens and a more expensive windscreen unless you have a fairly dynamic singer.

Cons:
- Because they aren't very think/dense, their effectiveness is slightly reduced.
- If you have an intense or dynamic singer or are in a rock band, you will probably want something heavier duty.
- They don't feel like they could withstand a whole lot of putting on and taking off. I would put the windscreen on a mic and leave it there permanently to avoid tearing it.

Note:
I haven't tested these outdoors in real wind. For outdoor use you will almost certainly need something heavier duty, but when it comes to windscreens something is far better than nothing.

These wind screens are a must have if you are using your system outside in windy conditions. I have had the chance to use these on both my Shure Beta 58A and my Audix OM2. No sound quality was lost and the occasional pops, hissing sounds and breath explosions were greatly reduced. I will be using these windscreens as a permanent fixture on all my mics.

It isn't often you run into something that is both very good at what it does and sells for a very reasonable price. I will never be without these in my kit.

The packaging was a bit odd in a vacuum sealed roll where each windscreen was smooshed flat until cutting the plastic sheet away. I was concerned the foam would stay flat but in time each has filled out and rounded just fine. The fit the GLS hand held mic head very well - tailor made for it I suppose - and are a perfect match. There's no sound discoloration to my ear between having it on the capsule to off but it does help with breath pops. The foam is a bit thinner than some other brands but does just fine at lessoning a singer or speaker breath noise. Don't look for it to cut outdoor wind noise dramatically but they do help in that regard.

My old "nose mittens" had gone missing (found them, of course, as soon as these new ones showed up) and I needed some for upcoming outdoor shows. They fit all my mics (mainly SM58 and Beta87) nicely and do their job. Good price.

Nice screens. Not overly thick, so they really don't affect the sound - except to block excessive wind or pops. I'm a big one for condenser mics for my vocals and horns, so I didn't want to lose that great edge those mics offer. I've had a couple of wind screens that were too thick and cut out those nice highs.
I would have given these 5 stars for price and usefulness, but they come packed "flat" in a multi-pocket plastic sleeve. They keep a very distinctive crease for quite a long time - doesn't affect the sound but it looks a little strange. No big deal, and I suppose it makes them cheaper to package and ship - hey, they came in an envelope! I've had them for about 6 months and they're finally starting to un-crease (if that's a word).
GLS makes some nice stuff - check out their cables and cords!

Just what we needed for the new wireless microphones we bought. We will be using them outside so needed some windscreens and these fit perfectly and were a good price. And since it is a 5 pack we have one extra. Fast shipping and arrived in perfect condition. Would definitely recommend these.

For the price, I figured I'd be throwing these out quickly. But they're as durable as more expensive foam covers. Took enough edge off my mic to sound better and the feel like they'll last longer than I'll want to keep them on a mic.

I ordered the "same" windscreens last year. GLS Audio Mic Windscreens by Orange County Speaker, but were sold by "JT COME." If I click on this product listing now, either the listing represented by my just received order or the one I received last September, the listing now says that these are sold by Orange County Speaker.

The newest windscreens are in individual bags and are connected as though they came off a roll. The previous windscreens were stuffed five to a bag. The previous are probably twice the thickness of these new ones. Time will tell how the new ones will hold up but I won't be buying anymore of these as they are not worth the cost. The ones previously received are fine quality and well worth the cost.
