The 339 Modular Bluetooth Helmets are by far the most versatile helmets we stock. The HN588 communication system gives you the ability to communicate and enjoy digital technology hands free. We wanted to make this helmet/Bluetooth combination as user friendly as possible so we decided to integrate the actual V-Com Bluetooth system inside the helmet. The 2.0 Bluetooth is also equipped with EDR (Enhanced Data Rate) which is compatible with 1.1 and 1.2. This system will let you pair with a second V-Com enabled helmet for wireless driver to passenger or driver to driver communication within 500 feet. It is compatible with A2DP and AVRCP Bluetooth frequency profiles. Battery life is 6-8 hour talk time and 48 hours of standby which is outstanding for a Bluetooth battery. One of the most popular features we have noticed is the FM stereo for them long rides. All AC charging adaptors are included.

I had to repackage this helmet to exchange it but i'll tell you what i have played around with:
first off, the instructions for this product are very poor. it's about 6 pages that don't really tell you much about the product. but if you have enough common sense you can figure it out.
The stereo function worked pretty well and sounded clear. The Bluetooth connectivity seemed pretty solid using my Windows Phone Nokia 1020.
The multi-function button is a toggle between your phone's music/gps, helmet's FM radio, last phone call made. so when you hit the button to switch, you might end up calling your last phone call. during my brief test, it seemed pretty tricky to try to get this to switch back from stereo mode to phone's music mode and inbetween trying to switch, it would call back my last phone contact. so that would annoy the last person you called.
To toggle the volume on the helmet you'd have to hold the up or down button. those buttons also change the tracks forward or backward.
the microphone seems to get in the way when you try to close the helmet. so be careful not to slam it shut. the usb charger is in the back of the helmet and does hang out for about half an inch does not seem to be an issue with wearing the helmet.
The sunglasses inside is controlled by the little dial on the left side of the helmet.
the helmet's inner cushion felt pretty nice and this seems like a pretty solid build.
since i had to repackage the product for an exchange to a larger size i did not get to take it out on the road to test the volume or road noise, phone calls, or intercomm function. i also didn't get a chance to test if the face shield was anti-fog or not.
I hope this helps the next buyer. I will write an updated review when I get my replacement. I am rating it a 4 due to the sizing issue but other than that, the helmet seems to be pretty solid.
As previously mentioned in other review the sunshield doesn't come down far enough. Not a deal breaker. As its modular you can flip up the front of it and put on sunglasses.
I wasn't prepared for the amount of airflow and noise that a modular helmet had over a traditional full-face helmet. I wear earplugs for the noise and a balaclava when the weather cools down.
I would definitely buy this helmet again.
Gave it 4 Stars instead of 5 because it didn't come with good instructions, but it is easy enough to figure it out. And it is a decent helmet, not top quality has some air noise but got to remember it's a modular helmet. Didn't get the chance to use it to communicate with other helmets yet but still from what I seen so far don't think there will be to many issues. Also I see a few bad reviews and I don't know what those people are crying about, it's a great helmet for the price that has a Bluetooth on it.
This is my second one, first one for me, second one for passengers.
Love the bluetooth functionality, the helmet for passengers will be useful because then we can communicate much easier.
I have not crash tested it (luckily) so I can't attest to its real-world results.
EDIT: It will melt if put on your muffler though... and GLX will not refund/replace for a melted helmet.
