These Vitamins Appear to Really Work
on May 15, 2011
A few weeks ago I was standing in line getting ready to order some food, when this thin woman standing next to me starts talking about her weight. Honestly, I was less than interested, because it kind of annoys me when thin people start talking to you about their weight issues. About 2 minutes into her talking, she started to say something I was actually interested in. Specifically, she said how she had lost 80 pounds (over 8 months I think) basically doing nothing but taking these vitamins.
Upon closer inspection and more listening, she sounded like the do-nothing type, so I started to believe that she probably wasn't doing any exercise. Anyway, she also said that it was pretty incredible and that her husband had even started taking these women's vitamins and that he had lost about 30 pounds in two months. She said to make sure to get the ones that come 7 in a pack and that they were expensive, but that they really work.
So I went to the Rite Aid GNC three times to look at them, but had a hard time wrapping my brain around $50 for a month's supply of vitamins. Also I'm the chewable, needs to taste like cherry candy, vitamin type person, so I was especially disinclined to buy these vitamins. When I went to look at these the third time, they were on sale for $42.99 so I bought them and...
Okay, to be fair I'm only on day 3, but here's everything good that's happened: 1. I did not vomit after taking 7 vitamins at a time, like some have suggested on other sites 2. Within an hour I start to feel an incredible sense of well-being 3. I have more energy, not like ready-to-run a race energy, but just like I don't feel tired all the time any more 4. My appetite decreases significantly after taking these for about 6 to 7 hours. 5. Excess waste is going out (sorry to gross you out!), but this is a total plus. 6. I know I said this already, but the main thing is I don't feel constantly fatigued, I feel energetic and ready to go out and do things. Usually, I just feel like a nap.
After reading about these vitamins on other sites, I knew to take them only after eating a meal, so I take them at lunch time, after I've eaten. On the negative side, the positive effects that I noted do not appear to persist for a full 24 hours. When I wake up, I feel okay, but not amazing, which is how I feel about 30 minutes after taking the vitamins. Also, I take all seven at once, and I haven't had any problem whatsoever. The vitamins are kind of huge, but this has not been an issue. Also, I always throw up after eating or drinking anything that tastes nasty, but I have had no problems with keeping these down.
I'll try to follow up to let you know whether I actually lose any weight. I would love to lose 10 pounds without doing a total life overhaul, e.g. not eating any white foods, going vegan, super vigorous exercise 90 minutes a day, etc.
08/05/2011 - I lost five to seven pounds on these vitamins within 2 weeks, depending on which day of the week it is.
