GOAT STORY was inspired by the greatest discovery of all time – coffee! It was back in 13th century that a flock of goats stumbled upon a bush of berries that made them go loco! Their obviously bored and adventure seeking shepherd decided to brew the berries – and thank goats he did!

Fast forward to the 21st century: that’s when we kick in. We decided to revolutionize coffee drinking and designed a one-of-a-kind coffee mug – THE GOAT Mug.

Funded on Kickstarter, this coffee mug is the perfect coffee companion for the urban warrior and an amazing conversation starter! The shape is also ergonomic and lets you drink the last sip of your coffee due to its incline. This mug is awesome! It's really well constructed, very sturdy and a lot more balanced than anticipated. My fiance kept trying to lightly tip it over while sitting in the stand and it resisted surprisingly well. One issue I did notice is that it's not 100% leak-proof, when it's moving around like when you're wearing it over your shoulder, some liquid does come out but it's not a huge amount. I would venture to say its' about 95% leak-proof. One downside is that whatever hot beverage you're drinking does not stay hot for long so I docked a star. That may just be me though, I've been spoiled with my yeti mug that keeps things hot for like 5 hours. Overall, I would definitely recommend this mug.

The mug is fine. The make is sturdy, overall. The crappy clips promise awkward re-attachment and a limited lifespan. It will definitely hold coffee. The shape hugs the body such that navigating through a crowded city street should not present any issue.

What irks me is that I paid $5 extra for real leather, but it seems that it’s (yet again) premium fake leather.

Learn from my mistake- only buy “leather” products that specifically state that they’re either “full grain” or “genuine” leather, with specific detail of what animal it came from.

Awesome Mug! Just needs one thing extra

I love this mug! When I first came across this this mug it intrigued me. So I searched everywhere about it beforehand. It was either loved or hated, usually the later by those who never used it. There was one consistent complaint though about the ease of clipping the straps on and off the plastic. When my mug arrived I was excited and curious as the people I had earlier watched on YouTube unboxing it. So I immediately tried to clip on the straps.. they were all right it was a difficult task. Wearing it felt comfortable. And it holds the seal and does not leak. It doesn't hold the drink hot, which is perfect for me because I can't drink it as hot as it is out of the pot. I did find that adding key rings to the cup and lid allows me to clip the strap on faster and easier. I'm even able to carry it a little more comfortably as well. I get compliments everywhere I go with it.

Not really leak proof. If your lid is not 100% dry, it will leak.
Leather is also not good quality.
The clips at the end of the straps are also difficult to clip on/off onto the mug.
I was let down by the quality of materials

It is a perfect mug! The only thing I don’t like is the metal clip on the strap. If used daily, it digs into the plastic loops, scraping away bit of the plastic. I will be attaching a smooth jump ring to prevent further destruction.

Like the mug so far but really disappointed that when using the wrist strap to carry it or clip it to a bag, there's absolutely nothing keeping the sleeve on. There should be something that holds the sleeve not just a hook on the cup. Basically, you have to either risk losing the sleeve, push it on so tightly you stretch it with time, or carry it separately which is pretty stupid.

the concept is fun. the practicality of changing the coffee "stand" from part of the sling to a holding the "cup" on a table is very poorly designed. it's a hassle. if you don't have several minutes every time you want to convert this either way, it's only an idea - not practical at all.
