Every kitchen needs this space-saving, versatile LCD TV unit. It's ultra-slim, and mounts under the cabinet to save precious counter space. There's a drawer-load DVD/CD/CD-R/CD-RW/JPEG Player, and 8.1 inch LCD TV screen with 181-channel cable-ready tuner, a digital tune AM/FM stereo radio with 10 AM and 10 FM presets, a digital clock with timer, and built-in stereo speakers. LCD display with blue backlight and swiveling LCD screen makes viewing easy and flexible. Soft-touch membrane remote control with direct channel select. Auxiliary audio/video input jacks, FM wire antenna, AC-powered with built-in line cord. Under-cabinet mounting template, screws and spacers, included. Uses 2 "AA" batteries (not included) so the clock remembers the time during power failures. Est'd dimensions as shown 12.7 x 13.5 x 10 inches.

Now the poor points (as others have explained) - The picture quality is poor both from the sharpness of the picture and the small viewing angle (both horizontal and vertical). But what can you expect for a $119 small screen TV? It plays DVD's well when it decides to play the DVD. It is very particular as to what DVD it will play even if they are new commercial DVD's. The sound is way too loud when it comes on and needs to be turned down each time. It poorly receives TV channels over the antennae even though we are located within a few miles of the main broadcasting towers for the Los Angeles area. It works well with Cable TV. The TV screen just gave up as well as sound for TV and DVD. We are waiting to hear from GPX as to the repair options, although I expect the repair cost to be near the replacement cost. $10 a month for this unit is not acceptable to us and we will not buy another GPX again. We'll search for a reliable name brand unit with a decent warranty.
