I'm prematurely gray and have had to use a waxy crayon product to cover my roots between professional haircolorings to avoid over coloring my hair. NO GRAY QUICK FIX is great because it's easy to use and stays ON the hair. It has a mascara-wand-type applicator that keeps the color on the hair instead of your scalp. (No more "erasing" crayon smears on your scalp with a q-tip.) And, this stuff actually DRIES completely on your hair so you're good to go until the next shampoo-yea! The wax crayon NEVER dried and even melted a little in heat-ugh! I've tried other root cover up products - sponge applicators, crayons, and marker-like products....this is BY FAR the best way to go!
I've even been able to extend the time between professional hair coloring appointments so I'm saving money!
As others suggested you would be better off with a waterproof mascara product than this.
The rest, however not so Pro. I used this product for the first time the other day. Like I mentioned, easy application and perfect color. My first thought was that I found something to make my root touch ups last longer on my pesky grays that I now have. About an hour after application I noticed my hands looms dirty. I was wondering what the heck it was from, but low and behold it was from repositioning my hair and or putting it in a pony holder. I was immediately disappointed and throughout the evening would just touch the areas in my hair and my finger would have brown on it just from a light touch. One other thing I disliked was how it made my hair feel. It had a very rough feeling, similar to having too much hairspray on my root area. Overall I was not happy with this product. The product never dried. Every time I touched my hair, it left brown marks on my skin. It was clumpy, sticky, and stiff on the hair at my temples until I washed it out. Read morePublished 2 months ago by Becs Richert
