The clarity, beauty, and convenience of an included infuser to make loose leaf tea, the Vienna is your PERFECT teapot! The Borosilicate glass is an ultra smooth surface that is durable and easy to clean, and will never go cloudy even after years of use. Since the VIENNA teapot does not have any plastic or metal parts, it will never impart a flavor to your water or tea, and will never rust or warp, and resists staining as well. Since this teapot has a large base it CANNOT be used with the GROSCHE SAHARA teapot warmer. The VIENNA Teapot brings you another unique design tea pot with its special hand-blown Hexagon shape. The large and comfortable handle makes this an easy teapot to handle as well. The long infuser means you can make a half pot of tea at a time as well, no need to fill up the water all the way to the top to make your gourmet loose tea. 1200 ml is a perfect size to share tea with friends. When infusing high quality tea, don’t you need a high quality and elegant infuser teapot like the VIENNA by GROSCHE?

1.The glass Infuser is the flaw of this combination: it is so thin and it breaks easily. Mine when arrived had a tiny crack it got larger and larger in just two weeks. I drink tea twice a day so if you are planning to use this kettle everyday do not buy it.
2.Glass of the kettle itself is also too thin so you have to be careful when you are washing it or carrying it around.
3.When I got the kettle and I found a tiny crack in it I contacted the customer service; they asked me to leave a positive feedback in order to get a replacement!!!!!!!!!! I found it unprofessional, Thanks for Amazon returning policy I returned the kettle.
Suggestion: After hours of search I bought a Primula kettle with glass infuser from target for half of a price. They made it from a thicker glass and I am using it everyday.
The infuser is glass with thin slits. It maybe doesn't work as well as a mesh infuser, but well enough for me. It's very fragile, and so is the lid, so make sure you're holding them when you pour, if you don't remove them. Someone here complained about having to do the two-handed pour, which is wild. Why would you NOT want to feel like you're performing a tea ceremony?
I like to make the tea on the stove, and then move the pot (be careful, it's hot, hey, it was just on the stove) into my room and put it on the Grosche Cairo teapot warmer, and read a book and snuggle under the covers and it will normally take me the better part of a 2-3 hour tea light to finish the full pot. Not really relevant as far as the review goes, I'm just trying to give this teapot a context.
If you're a person that likes to think ahead, buy a brush to clean the spout, because I notice mine getting a brownish tinge (probably from sitting 2 hours at a time with steeped tea in it.)
To conclude, this is a good tea kettle for someone who's maybe romantic and slightly old fashioned and likes tea and knows how to behave around glass objects, especially glass objects that contain boiling water.
It is thin, and I am still not comfortable placing this kettle on the stove top. Instead I boil water and then add it to the kettle, which I have been using solely as a teapot. I drink tea every day, and this kettleapot has been very useful in sustaining my tea drinking regime. I am one of those folks that use tea to flavor water. So I prepare tea; let it reach room temp and drink the flavored unsweetened tea throughout the day whenever I get thirsty. I have over hundreds of tea flavors that I have collected over the years, and I can use a teabag to its max by using this kettleapot. I can also savor different tea flavors throughout the day as I can quickly rinse this kettleapot.
On thing I did learn is to handle it with care, since the glass is thin. Unfortunately, the lid broke six months into owning this gem after I placed it on top of my kitchen counter. I contacted customer service looking for a replacement. I was already prepared for the company to tell me to buy a new kettleapot in order to get a new lid; leaving me with two kettles and one lid. To my surprise, the company reps not only sent me a replacement lid FREE of charge, they PAID for shipping as well. If that's not great customer service, I do not know what is.
Overall great kettleapot and great company. I recommend you get this one because in my opinion, this kettleapot is the most aesthetically pleasing to the eyes.
