Because Who Doesn't Like Having Options
Who doesn't like having options? No-one likes to be forced into making a decision against their will. Why choose between one thing or another when you have can have the option to choose both? In the spirit of having choices we've come up with the GS-3400P Portable Dual Fuel Stove, the first of the Dual Series Line and most certainly not the last. Including a re-purposed regulator suited for both propane and butane, never think twice about not having options.
Piezo Electric Ignition w/Flame Supervision Device
The GS - 3400P is built with safety features like the Piezo Electric Ignition to eliminate the use of lighters/match and the flame supervision device that cuts off gas fuel when no flame is detected.
Non Slip Rubber Legs
Made to prevent the stove from slipping or falling over, the GS - 3400P is constructed with slip resistant, rubber legs.
Pressure Sensor/Gas Flow Ejection Mechanism
At 0.7KGF or greater, the GS - 3400P will eject the butane canister to prevent any signs of fuel overpressure.
Propane Adaptor Hose
Designed to be versatile for any situation, the GS - 3400P comes with a propane adaptor hose to give you the option of switching from butane and propane (16.4 oz. tank.)

Metal is reasonably thick. Went camping, used propane, no issues. The grill held flame really good, was self igniting which is a huge plus and never once gave ANY problem. Flame is controllable to an extent which is a big plus. Held a 9", 12" frying pan with ease.
Suggestions: Add when storing back few shingles (home depot) as you never know whether the picnic table's level. The wind deflector/surround I used Dremel to cut a hole so that the propane tube can hit thru it, like an inverted U. If using butane, not required. My wife dropped the whole thing when trying to store from the picnic table about 3' to ground and it hit a rock, bounced off it and fell. No issues, no dents. It was a very good buy. Dual fuel is a HUGE advantage.
I can store a butane canister (backwards), the included propane hose adapter, and windscreen all included in the case. Will be testing it camping soon.
This thing is awesome. I had it hooked up to a 1 pound propane cylinder and used it for one full week with plenty of gas to spare (and I cooked every day for at least an hour if not more). Yesterday I bought a fitting that allows me to hook it up to a 20 pound cylinder instead, for cost savings. It works perfectly and has been reliable, just like a gas burner should.
I cooked some steaks on my skillet the other day using this burner as the heat source. Using an infrared thermometer, on maximum output, this burner was able to heat the skillet up to almost 600 degrees F uniformly. Needless to say, the steaks came out amazing--crusty on the outside and juicy on the inside.
Take into account that I have only had this product for a week--so I cannot comment on the durability/reliability of the unit. But as far as this past week goes, I am very happy that I chose this to use, and I have only had a positive experience with it so far. If anything changes I will add to this review, but so far, from my limited experience using it, I would recommend the unit to anybody looking around for something with a small footprint that still puts out enough heat to get the job done.
Just a note of caution because I usually skip the instructions on any product I buy unless I run into trouble. When using a propane bottle, connect the adapter hose to the stove first before connecting to the fuel bottle. There is no flow control on the adapter hose, only on the stove itself with the gas/igniter control knob on the front of the stove.
The first time I fired it up I really couldn't see any flame being a sunny day but this stove burns clean and produces a very hot flame. Be careful.
Another great feature is the wide platform for larger frying pans. There's no way a pan is going to fall off the burner like I've experienced with back pack stoves.
