I'm very pleased with this collapsible, drip coffee maker. It's light, collapses easily and I really like the lid that seals in the whole unit, protecting it and making it nicely stowable. The drip-rate is just fine and it easily cleans up with rinsing. Some have commented on how large this is. It's a bit bigger than your average #4 dripper but I find it perfect for the Hemp & Cotton Pinyon cloth filter I got for travel & backpacking. The combination is extremely light and compact--and no waste from paper filters.I'm going on an extended trip and looked at a lot of possibilities for packable coffee making system. I tend to favor French press coffee, but that means more bulk/weight, even the ultra-lightweight double-walled presses out there.First try, I used the setting between fine and medium on my burr grinder, but I'm thinking I could go much finer if I wanted to. I'll give that a shot my next cup!Upshot: a very well designed and functional system for making coffee in the sticks and while on the go.Note: the mug in the pics is larger--holds about 18.5oz.

Bought this ten years ago for travel and still using. Buying a second one because my partner and I argue over it and I’m afraid it won’t always be available.

At home I have tried chemex, melita, ikea, and other silicone travel cones, but this has remained my main drip device for making coffee at home. It’s stable and doesn’t topple over like the melita, the water flows through slowly making a stronger cup than the metal drip cone from IKEA, it takes up less space and is not breakable like the chemex. It keeps the coffee warm and covered if I have to step away while it’s dripping. Sure, it’s ugly but it’s small and does the job. I’ve used it both for travel and home.

Works best with paper filters. I wet the filter before putting it into the cone, then add coffee, a little water for the first run to create suction, then fill it up on the next pour.

It’s a little pricey but you won’t regret it!

Works fine especially with Hario 03 filters. Wish were made somewhere besides China as not sure what the chemical compounds are but so far so good, used it once. Washed it in vinegar as others stated to do to rid smell.

Very convenient, packs incredibly small and makes good coffee. Simple use, easy to clean. Stable design unlike the versions that clip to your cup/pot.

Just zero downside to having this on hand or in you camp gear. Coupled with a jetboil for the fastest hot water you can get means quick, good coffee in the morning when you need it.

I am not sharing pics, as there's nothing to see that you can't see from the images presented. This has a wide bottom and fits over all of my carafes (and cups) and works great as a portable coffee solution. I use a pour over at home (a ceramic one), as this is my preferred blend of control, speed, flavor and quality, so you may have a learning curve here. The two things I caution people to do with a pour over is to ensure the water temp is right (never over 205 degrees F, though I prefer mine closer to 190) and thoroughly soak all the grounds with your pour. Use a swirling pour technique.

For travel I prefer a permanent filter to paper ones, though paper does make for a smoother cup. Still, strong morning coffee is fine by me.

Packs flat. Has a durable lid to make the puck sturdy when collapsed. Is reasonably light. Is durable.

I do notice that the silicone gets fine powder stuck to it (from using the dishwasher on it), so I try to clean it with a good liquid dish cleaner by hand only.

Easy to clean.
Easy to use.

The hardest part is sourcing hot water... if you can do that, this is great.

It has a compact and lightweight design. Crafted from durable materials, it's built to withstand the rigors of adventures while remaining incredibly portable. Whether I'm in route somewhere new or setting up camp at a remote site, this coffee maker easily fits into my gear without adding unnecessary bulk or weight.

great quality collapsible drip, it doesn't make the coffee taste weird and drips well when used with proper coffee filters, good size that fits over most mugs and perfect for traveling or camping and it is lightweight. If only it had a place to store a few coffee filters with the cover. It took its sweet time to arrive though
