Put em on my face..., Now I'm a believer...

Skeptical as hell... Decided to give them a try regardless. I've been sitting in front of a computer as a Network Engineer for over 15 years. Never once did I realize I needed 'computer eyewear' until I tried these on. Headaches? Gone... Red eyes? Ehh... Better... My eyes are still red but no longer bloodshot as they used to be. When you take these things off (Looking for hours on end at my massive dual monitors), the screens now stick out like fluorescent bug zappers. I can no longer sit at my desk without having this 'protection' on my eyes. Yes, the yellowish tint look similar to goggles at the gun range but I don't care. Takes a few minutes initially to get used to but I literally cannot work without these things on. Damn Gunnar Optik's for creating 'eye crack' & now I'm dependent...

I have had head aches for so long that I can't remember the last time I didn't. A throbbing sensation that would start from the eyes and go to back of my head. I had a lot of things in my life that could have been giving these head aches. Like the spray paint or the adhesive spray glues or the silicon that I used for the products I made. Maybe even the constant noise of the compressor, the hammering, vacuuming and having 3 radios playing at the same time could have been the reason for my head aches. So i slowing removed this things from work and when I had finally removed them all... I still had the head ached that I would have from morning to night. Head ache pills would not work and my doctor didn't know what it could be. One day someone told me it might be the countless hours I put in the computer at work and at home (am a gamer). So I found this glasses and just needed to see if they would work and stop having this massive head aches I have everyday. I am still in disbelieve that this glasses would take away my head aches. On the first night of me using them I started to fell a sense of relief that I had not felt in soooo long. But I didn't want to just go off of that. I would be using them for about a week and my head left me. I almost cried of the relief if me not having to waking up in the morning with head aches any more. I thanked God for these glasses since I don't have them anymore. I did a test to see if my head aches would come back. So I stopped using them for what I planned a week but on the second day my head aches came back and decided that I would stop my testing. That's when I knew for myself that this glasses worked as they say they do. I didn't mention that it also stop the tears and itching that I would get from long hours of gaming. If these sounds like you then without hesitation get this glasses, I promise you the pain will go away. Now I do have to say that you will get some eye strain but it will not be anything like before and if you don't like them just return them. Amazon is great on that. I hope this helps you guys and girls out. I know it did for me. Thank you for your time.

How did I live without these??

I work 9+ hours a day as a traffic coordinator which requires me to be in front of my computer nearly all day...combine that with the ungodly florescent light hanging above my desk and the fact that I'm a student and am then on my laptop most of the evening and you have the equation for some very sore eyes.

I was getting tension headaches everyday. Would have to lay down after work and my eyes would be blood shot and so sore. I don't require prescription lenses but had a lazy eye growing up so I was concerned my eye site would start to be permanently affected. I researched computer glasses for awhile before deciding on my Gunnars. ....THEY ARE A GODSEND.

The yellow tinting takes a little getting used to, but after a day, you'll wonder how you ever survived without these. My tension headaches have decreased from 5 days a week to maybe once a week and that's only if i forget to put my glasses on until later in the morning.

If you are having computer vision syndrome...please, try these glasses. What do you have to lose? if you don't like them, you can send them back. Your eyes will be happy...they will do a little dance and sing you a song of praise.

Saves My Post-LASIK Eyes

One of the best things I have ever done in my life is LASIK. However as a result of the procedure I still suffer from dry eyes and sensitivity to light, even though it has been 3 years. Because of this, staring at a computer screen daily just exacerbates the problem, continuously leaving me with itchy, red eyes and stress headaches. Even though all of my screens are on the dimmest setting, nothing has seemed to help the irritation I experience until I got these glasses. My headaches are gone and they have made a remarkable improvement in the stress on my eyes. I can immediately tell the difference as soon as I put them on.

PROS
- Eliminated my headaches completely
- Instantly eases the stress on my eyes and helps with dryness
- Yellow tinted lenses makes the light from the computer screen softer and easier to look at for long periods of time
- Lightweight and comfortable. They fit well on the bridge of my nose and do not press uncomfortably behind the ears.
- High quality microfiber soft pouch included, which does a good job of keeping the lenses clean and smudge-free.
- Stylish... they would probably look good on anyone. Although for as much as they've helped me they could be coke bottles for all I care! ;-)

CONS
- The frames do feel a bit flimsy. I know this is what makes them so lightweight but I just feel that I have to be extra careful with them for fear of damaging them.
- No hard-cover case. That would be a nice touch since the glasses are priced at a premium.

Overall, I would highly recommend these glasses to anyone who has to stare at a computer screen all day and suffers from dry eyes or light sensitivity. It is especially beneficial to anyone who has had LASIK and is still dealing with the after-effects of the procedure. Before these glasses, I was constantly using eyedrops and popping Tylenol several times a week for headaches. This is no longer an issue for me due to these glasses. I personally will always have a pair of GUNNARS from here on out. They have been that helpful to me and I don't want to go back to life without them.
