Review
A big part of the book's pleasure, especially for American readers, is that it allows us to imagine being these Parisians' neighbor, gazing out from a romantic Marais garret or chic St.-Germain pied-à-terre, and to daydream about a life lived with these views.--Julie Coe"Architectural Digest" (11/04/2014)
The beauty of the images is unquestionable. Beautifully composed and perfectly exposed so that the surroundings, the building, and its residents all complement each other, every photo is peaceful and candid.--DL Cade"Petapixel" (10/29/2014)

She is no Thomas Struth or Robert Polidori. She doesn’t even deserve to be in the same sentence as them.
Not does she rise to the level of Merry Alperin and Dirty Windows.
And she is no Taryn Simon, with her book The Innocents that plays with your notion of reality.
No, there is really nothing here. Just bland voyeurism that isn’t even that as it is all staged and not even titillating and the pictures actually show nothing. Make no statement. Offer no insight.
As Minor White said, “A photograph is an x-ray into the soul and mind of the photographer.” Unfortunately as these pictures as utterly vapid, one can only conclude what that means for Ms. Albert herself.
