Well I lucked in to getting this video card. Seems impossible for the MSRP. I was able to get it on amazon for $509. Its not the brand I wanted but it all uses the same boards. Super shipping took 7 days to arrive. Looks like they were basically filling orders while I waited. I would recommend paying $10 extra for shipping. The packaging appeared to be opened as well. The factory sealed sticker had been removed. The card was still sealed in the static resistant film though so i guess no one really unpackaged it. This thing is awesome though. 2nd best video card next to the $1200 gtx 690. Buy it if you get achance!

If you are unlucky enough to have a defective card, getting a replacement from galaxy is going to be extremely difficult and time-consuming. Their customer service is virtually non-existent. Sometimes they choose to ignore your emails altogether.

It may be prudent to purchase from a different manufacturer.

Love this card, this thing can play the latest games without breaking a sweat... literally, the heat off this thing is minimal. Professional users that rely on CUDA and iRay tracing beware... The precision float processing on this card is significantly lower than that of a GTX 580. (Nerds that do big computations on their GPU may be a bit disappointed, yes there are more CUDA cores the cores just don't handle as many floating points) And those that want enhanced performance on Autodesk 3D Studio Max and such will be SOL untill NVIDIA fixes their iRay program for the new Kepler chip. Other than that its a wonderful card, but the deficiencies caught me a little off guard as I expected next generation to be better in all situations... some forums suggest NVIDIA has done this on purpose to boost sales of their Quadro and Tesla cards... :P Say it aint so!

Note: One other disappointing thing is that if you enjoyed the software Badaboom (GPU enhanced video transcoding) you will be sad to hear that Badaboom does not support this chip, and will not be releasing any new versions for this... :(

best 600.00 i have ever spended on a video card bought it on sep 2013 and still kicking.... this card has swayed me from Radeon to Nvidia fan not only the driver update is not a pain in the butt but the not having to worry about buying a video card every 1 to 2 years has made me a hard core fan on this brand !

This card is amazingly fast and powerful. Only a couple of complaints:

1. The card is HUGE. I almost couldn't get the cables to go around it, in my large Antec gaming case.

2. Driver support has been awful. It came with some beta windows drivers that froze XP repeatedly. 304.X and above have been tolerable, but there are still reboot freezes while initializing the card during BIOS. Video drivers have been better on Linux, but I can't get HDMI audio to work reliably after a reboot. And attempting to use the 310.X drivers ended with a non-functional GUI.

3. Worst of all, now I have to get a new CPU, since I'm no longer GPU bound :)

This is a superb product from Galaxy. Although it is my first experience buying a Galaxy product but I am very satisfied with my purchase. The quality is top notch and the product is the best out there. If you are building your dream machine, just get this GTX680.
