I like this game, but I will admit this game is for a certain type of gamer. I would recommend this title to anyone who thoroughly enjoys anime and all that it entails. This means taking a hit on graphics, a plot that is absolutely absurd, and gameplay that would be considered "just okay" by the uninitiated. For whatever reason, I get a hoot out of playing these types of games and this one did not disappoint. The gameplay is even better than the first one, I played that on PS4, and they managed to deepen the menu systems and overall gameplay. This is a rail shooter, for the most part, and I would say that this is a pretty decent one. I'm not sure it's worth the price they are asking, but I would suggest eventually acquiring this game somehow if you are a collector, the first one is shooting up in price.

I loved Gal Gun Double Peace. For Gal Gun 2 I really hoped to love it as much. I do.

Gal Gun 2 plays like it wanted to be a VR game. In Gal Gun 2 you have to defend yourself from highschool girls who have lost their minds because their hormones are altered by "heavenly intervention". You warp from position to position and shoot the attackers in their weak spot (head, breasts, hips, or legs) to cause euphoria. You can take on different missions, like defending girls from little demons, or clearing an area of mini demons. Depending on the answers to give to certain girls, you can get different endings.

The motion tracking really helps in the aiming, otherwise the reticle won't move fast enough.

Gal*Gun 2 brings back its part ecchi, part dating sim, all humor game series back again. As per usual, you try to avoid the mobs of women with the pewpew gun to 'make them happy'. They added in a vaccum feature to suck up the demons, which makes the game a lot easier, but it does have a %, so you can't spam it. They also added motion controls. It only takes about a minute or two to get used to the controls, and then it is a lot easier to aim. The choices you make in the game reflect who you will end up with. Also, there is a lot of comedy choices to make, if you just want to get a good laugh. If you don't like fan-service-and if you can ignore it, the story is cute and there is a lot of funny moments.

These girls...they're all 18+, right? Yeah, I'm gonna go with that assumption. So, with that in mind, the game is just titillating enough to pique the interest of people of all ages. I would group this in with the Senran Kagura games and maybe some of the Dead or Alive games, only much more tame. Good fun, though!

Really enjoyed playing this game on the switch. As far as I came tell it plays good on the switch. Good story line and characters. I know some people like the first one better but I can not tell if this game is better since I have never played the first one. The only down side is that buying all the dlc to get the full experience of the game. At least Nintendo bundles the dlc to save some $$$$. I think the game is still enjoyable with out any of the box but probably not as much fun in my opinion. Hope the developer will release the first one on the switch so I can play that one too.
